I love these they cut like butter and the fact that you can cut with one hand like the ridgid ones

After using the knipex tube cutter, I'm contemplating throwing two Ridged 151s I have in the garbage. The roller bearings the pipe rides on and needle roller bearings around the pin that retains the cutting wheel put this tool on another level when it comes to smoothness. The only limitation compared to the 151 is it only cuts up to 1 1/4 (1 3/8 OD) where the Ridged does 1 1/2 (1 5/8 OD). I'm going to get the xl version very shortly which cuts up to 3 inch copper. The built in retractable debuting tool is top notch.

I use this cutter for EMT conduit and for mountain bike fork steerers.In the past I had used a hacksaw with a fresh blade or a Husky/Rigid pipe cutter from a big box store and that pipe cutter replaced one from Ace Hardware.I watched a Hambini YouTube video where he mentioned using this cutter for carbon handlebars, fork steerers, etc and recommended it.I can definitely say that none of the other cutters I have used is remotely in the same league as this one.Nice easy clean cuts with less effort and the design practically eliminates flaring on the end of the cut which is a pain with mountain bike forks as you have to file down the edges so the steerer will slide through your stem.You can't go wrong with Knippex in my experience and if you have the coin this is definitely a really nice addition to the toolbox.None of those are in the same league as thi

There was a slight learning curve to this versus my traditional Rigid cutters but once I figured it out it was definitely a welcomed upgrade.

I cut a lot of 1/2" and 3/4" EMT conduit and normally use one of my cordless cut-off saws, but there's a number of times when I just need to carry a compact hand tool for the job. This Knipex pipe cutter is incredible - I can easily lock the position of the blade to my cut line with one hand, and with a couple turns, I have a very clean cut through 1/8" wall thick steel EMT piping. This is not a clunky tool, yet it has heft to it and ease of use; clearly a lot of thought went into its design. I know... it's hard to get excited about a cutting tool, but when you need something for a specific task, this is one that gets it done with great precision and ease.

If you're a plumber...you MUST own this.

As a pipe fitter doing refer lines these cutters worked almost too good felt like they were cutting faster then my olde cutters. Still don't like reamers on cutters but that's just me

I been using pipe cutters since I was a kid, son of a plumber and when I got older became a plumber also lol. This tool is very well made it seems more fluid maybe due to the emphasis on bearings. I will be using this instead of my reed and ridgid cutters.

This has to be the smoothest and highest quality pipe cutter I've ever used the other journeymen plumbers im working with who own other high end pipe cutters like Reed, ridgid ,or Milwaukee say its the also the best they have ever used. Also the deburring tool works fantastic saves alot of time and feels very solid. Knipex is Simply the best you absolutely cannot go wrong with anything by Knipex the best hand tool brand in the world in my opinion.
