Okay, so I used to keep in an egg carton on the counter and labeled it "use from front left first." And then we had to move the eggs every time or two we took eggs out to use. No more! This is PERFECT. So, I have 24 eggs in there now and there is room for 6 more. That is 15 Jumbo Pekin Duck eggs and 9 medium to large chicken eggs. If it were just medium to large eggs, I would say it would hold a total of at least 36 eggs or more. My Jumbo Pekeins lay HUGE eggs...double size of a medium to large egg.So let's talk about some of the less than 5 star reviews and their comments. Some said the eggs roll off of the dispenser because there is nothing to stop them. Not true. Perhaps the design has changed. But there is a good sized lip that holds them in. Now, I don't rip two off the bottom and let them roll like an avalanche, but I have tried it several times with no problems. Some say they don't roll down properly. Yes, they do. Even though I have mixed sizes, they do. Some said it is not stable and will tilt. Well, not unless there is an earthquake or a two year old in the house. It is very stable and sturdy. I find it very attractive sitting on my counter.Another thing I like is that, since I have mixed eggs of chickens and ducks, if I particularly want one or the other, it is easy to pick from the dispenser. I am particular to duck eggs and so is hubby, so we use those. For the kids, or to give to family, we pick out the chicken eggs.To summarize, this is the perfect solution, attractive and functional.

The media could not be loaded.  We bought this spiral egg holder for our girls eggs and it has been great. I got it just before we had a trip out of town. I was looking for something that was an easy place for our Duck Duck Goose babysitters to put the eggs, that was cute, and would allow us to know which eggs were laid first. The spiral stand met all the criteria and we love it.It fits our girls duck-size eggs, it looks nice, and I love that it rotates. Only three of our duck eggs have likely been too big.* However, to be fair, those three eggs were goose-size (likely with double yokes) and eggs that size are laid few and far between by our girls.Our girls are Khaki Campbell’s and Black Swedish ducks, if that helps estimate egg size for you. The video and pictures show a bit more of the fit and how the spiral spins. I hope you like it as much as we do!*UPDATE- It fits our larger eggs as well! We get the larger ones few and far between so I hadn’t tried adding them yet when I originally wrote this, but they fit too. See the added pictures of the egg sizes and the larger egg on the stand.

There are 36 regular chicken eggs in this picture. Very sturdy and fits on the counter nicely. Beautiful way to display those farm fresh eggs! It spins nicely and even better when the weight of the eggs is on there.

Works well, holds 30 eggs, looks good on the counter.

In the picture on the top row is an XL egg next to a small egg. On the bottom row is a new laying duck's egg (the off white egg on bottom, oddly shaped, almost looks green in the picture). All eggs are supported extremely well!!Pro's:*in picture there are 24 eggs, and still have room to add 4 to 6 more depending on size.* lightweight but durable.*Spins smoothly* my eggs have not fallen off.*I can insert even my extremely large eggs on the side (instead of rolling down from the top).*my counter is very small. The slim design allows me more space!*it is visually nice to look at and I feel like my eggs are on display as decoration and not just food.*I have not had one egg fall or cracked.*eggs slightly roll down as you take one from the bottom. But no harm to the eggs.*has not got top heavy on me yet.*the best pro of all.......... my husband doesn't mind it! Such a bonus because he does not like things on the counter. 😁Cons: I'm still thinking on this one.

We have 6 chickens. That is about the max amount of chickens I would have for this. Love it for doing first in first out inventory. Looks beautiful on counter. Perfect for more round eggs, but I have 2 sapphire gems that lay very skinny oblong eggs and they sometimes come sideways down the chute and get stuck or jump the track. It holds around 2 dozen eggs or 20 eggs don't really count. When we get too many we put extras in cartons and sell to neighbors. For taking 1-3 eggs at a time it works perfect but when filling up say a dozen eggs, sometimes the gem's eggs get stuck and fall out and slightly crack. Our girls have laid about 550 eggs since January 1 and probably have cracked 4 or 5 eggs, and of those only one cracked to where we couldn't use it. Would I recommend this, absolutely. I know of no better alternative for egg management and when you see the eggs on the track is easy for wife to cherry pick the jumbos. I have never been paid for a review and this is just my opinion.

We bought this for our sons' family. They have chickens and have bowls to hold all the eggs they produce. Because you place the eggs into the top of the spiral, the egg at the bottom of the spiral is the oldest egg. In the bowls it's hard to keep track of the age of the eggs. The spiral is so convenient, and it hold 3 dozen eggs. Because it is vertical storage it takes up far less space than the bowls do. When we brought it to them, they loved it. We emptied the 3 bowls and still had space.

This item is great. We have Buff Orpingtons and it holds about 30 of there eggs at a time. It does wobble a bit but has not tipped over, though I do hold it when taking eggs out to keep it steady on the counter. It seems pretty sturdy but we have only had it two weeks.

This egg holder is amazing. It holds up to 1 -2 dozen depending on the egg size. It spins around for easy placing of eggs into the rack.

It’s a great egg storage method for those with backyard chickens
