Good product that is well
Much better than the garbage bad I was using. That worked fine, but not with spooky birds. This fits the camera better and is t to difficult to get off the back to take a photograph. Much less awkward too, and the smooth fabric is whiter and stretches.

Excellent walking around camera raincoat
I bought this for a trip where rain and sprinkles were expected throughout the week. I was also looking at the bigger products (like ThinkTank, etc) but just wanted a small camera raincoat for walking around. This was a perfect solution. I followed the instructions on the Peak Design website and got one size larger than would fit snuggly so I could easily lift up the back to look through the viewfinder. For my camera (Canon 1DX Mark II with 28-75 lens) I bought a large and this worked out perfectly.I don't know why another reviewer said you can't lift the back to use the raincoat like Peak recommends. That's exactly what it's great for. Highly recommend.

I won’t go out without it.
The one time I left this at home, I got caught in a rain shower. While my cameras & most of my lenses are weather-sealed, the added protection from this Shell increases my confidence in the gear’s safety. I use it with a PD Capture clip when hiking. It’s easy to use, but folding it into the built-in pocket takes practice & luck. Build quality seems stellar so far. Water beads on the surface, rolls off. It can cover my A7iii & A7RV, both with battery grips. It handles my Sigma 100-400mm, too, on the wide end. It accommodates lens hoods, but doesn’t cover them, unless it’s a short, wide-angle lens. It’s easy to access camera controls. I wish it were less expensive — like US$10 cheaper — but it does the job, and my gear is definitely worth the expense.

Held up well, all things considered
I like that I can put my camera straps through the cover and appreciate how this feature is designed: there are asymmetrical holes to thread the strap through so that leakage doesn’t happen. I stood out in a pretty consistent, steady rain for 2-3 hours before the cover reached its threshold and I needed to take cover. My raincoat hadn’t yet soaked through, so I am a bit disappointed that my camera’s raincoat couldn’t hold up the same, especially at this price point. Overall, I’m keeping it because it is solid for a couple of hours of shooting in rain and I need something with that capability. I do wish it were a bit more durable.Other:Fit was great. Covered my Nikon d7100 with tamron 70-200mm lens at just the right length. I added a lens good for extra protection considering the amount of rain coming down.I’d like a version of this with a clear section to go over the screen so that I can see what’s going on without having to lift the cover, thus exposing my camera to the elements.

Great addition to my outdoor photography kit
I bought this for a backpacking trip in the Tetons and am so glad that I did because we got soaked! I had a chest clip for my camera with this shell over it. It was the perfect set up for keeping my camera close to capture all the incredible veiws, but also covered and dry. It is a bit big and baggy for my Sony A7rii, but still worked great.

Nice camera & lense cover
The cover fits well over a standard size DSLR and a medium telephoto lens. Nice material and drawstring. I haven't used it yet but it will be with me if inclement weather is in the forecast. Very pleasedcwith this product!
