Brilliant, just brilliant
I love these ear buds, the sound quality is brilliant, the battery is just as good and the gestures are easy and intuitive. The only complaint I have really is the casing is little lower quality plastic than the ear buds themselves and on the occasion the Bluetooth drops but only for a second. A quick off and on resets them and they're fine. Once the audio was considerably quieter than usual but I just forgot the device in my phone and it was back to normal once I reconnected it.

Not what I was expecting from Razer...
FYA READ THIS BEFORE BUYING! First of all, I must admit that I was expecting value for the price. Disregarding most of the reviews I saw on Amazon about Razer Hammerhead, I really really wanted to give them a chance and you know prove everybody's wrong. Oh boy how wrong I was... Let's start with the look and exteriors. Headphones look great, I can't say a word about it you will be satisfied in almost every aspect from the precision of the earphones and the box containing them with usual Razer stickers etc. Everything looks professional except the docking station of the earphones itself. As many on reviews say, it does feel cheap, because the plastic bit that closes that docking stations is not very firm, so feels like a cheap piece of plastic. Unfortunate, but I was willing to disregard that nevertheless and focus on the quality of the sound. The next step was complicated and not intuitive Razer earphones commands. Despite what instructions say, I had problems learning the commands. Eventually got used to them but earphones mistake simple touch with pausing the music for example or switching to other options like gaming mode. I still didn't learn how to turn them off without putting them into the box when they switch off automatically. Sound is ok but definitely not what I was expecting. If that's the quality that Razer gives for wireless headphones. I am not buying Razer Nari Ultimate. I was disappointed big time, don't get me wrong. It was loud as hell, but the quality left a lot to desire. Especially when I was using Discord and game with friends. So I heard clearly what they were saying but not concisely, I talked with them but the game was like background noise which was disappointing. I tried everything in the options of the game and Discord to no avail. But I bought them for the gym and to be honest, I said fair enough but still pretty disappointed. I admit that they stay connected for many meters to be honest over 10, despite I read otherwise BUT when I am outside and put my Razer Phone 2 into my pocket and listen to audiobook or anything on YT, they have an intermittent connection. What do I mean? I mean that when I listen to something, it cuts every 3 or 4th word. It is annoying because you have to keep you phone in your hand instead. I didn't experience that in the gym when I put my phone on the ground, which was very weird and disappointing for earphones that cost 100£. Earphones were pretty comfortable in my ear, even when I was very sweaty in the gym, however, the silicon nonslip cushion barely fit the earphones, as a matter of fact. When I put them on the earphones and then occasionally took earphones out of my ears, that silicon bit got stuck in my ear and had to reapply them frequently so they do not stick together. I do not put them anymore, waste of time and it earphones are not comfy with them. Good that earphones do not slip without them when I run. So that's a win in a loss. Overall, I don't think I would buy them again, I respect Razer products and I like the brand but if they keep making overpriced products without putting quality in them, I will definitely not buy their products anymore. Wish me luck as I am buying their gaming headphones and wireless mouse. If those result to be garbage, then no more Razer for me. Not worth the money for the quality of the product I am getting. PS. Edit from 2 stars to 1 after my first set stopped charging and second replacement, one of the earphones stopped completely working. Quite frankly, I am done with Razer Hammerhead, I cannot understand how 100£ earhpones are crappier than my 20£ - 5 years old earphones...

After having a sound issue all seems good
Seems a solid product. After an issue with the sound cutting in and out and not knowing why I spoke with razer who advised there is an app for these earbuds where you update the firmware which now seems to have solved my issue sound quality is good and they seem pretty sturdy overall a nice product and comfortable to wear aswell. So only issue is maybe razer need to mention their app in the box with the product.

Awful, shoddy product. Do not buy.
I've had two sets of these ear buds now and both have died in the same way: one ear bud stopped working altogether, it wouldn't charge and was completely unresponsive, but the other ear bud and the case are perfectly fine. Also, the accompanying app is terrible - the majority of the time it can't find the ear buds at all. When the ear buds did work, the sound would keep cutting out all the time. Sometimes it would start up again after a couple of seconds and sometimes I would have to put the ear buds back in the case and take them out again to reconnect. Finally, Razer themselves are extremely rude and difficult to deal with. I tried to make a claim on the manufacturer's warranty as the ear buds were clearly defective, but because I had the audacity to move house during the warranty period, they called me a fraudster and wouldn't replace the item. Terrible customer service from Razer and I won't be buying any more of their products in future. Summary: these ear buds are shoddily made and will only last you a few months. Buy a different brand instead.

Very good earphones.
Pros: -Easy to use and connect simply to anything I have tried to use them with. Will seamlessly disconnect from one device and connect to another without any fuss. -Look really good as you would expect from a Razer product. -Good warranty support from Razer if you register the product. -Fit securely in the ear. The earphones do feel a bit loose but in reality the fit is secure and stands up to use up to a fast walk outside. The silicone fittings may or may not be useful depending on your ear. -Case uses USB C charging so no need to carry a separate micro USB cable. -The carrying handle that can be attached to the case means it is easy to carry it about without losing it. -Premium quality for the price. Cons: -Battery life is limited, realistically each earphone will last 3-4 hours on a single full charge and the case will charge the earphones twice before needing to be charged itself. -The case does not always reliably charge the earphones if you are not careful to ensure they are properly in the case, the magnet may be holding the earphone in but it may not be contacting the charging points properly. -There is no indication how much battery the case/individual earphones have when charging. -The touch controls are not always reliable. TIP: When connecting earphones to a device the case must be open, if you close the case before the connection is complete the earphones won't connect, when the connection is complete you can close the case. This isn't made clear in the instructions and it took a while before I realised why I was having problems connecting.

Good quality but started to have issues with connectivity after 1 year of usage
I bought this product around a year ago mainly to listen to music when going to university. The quality of them is nothing insane, but for £40, it's quite good. For the last few months though, I've started having connectivity issues. Sometimes one headphone will not work even though it's been on charge and properly placed in the case and sometimes when connecting, it'll have like a hollowed-out cheap sound that needs to be disconnected and reconnected to get working properly again. Before this, a great product but I had to knock off two starts for the connectivity and sound isssues.

Turn off telephone or disable the hands free for PC
Great product and works with my pc Ignore the reviews of people on pc only getting one working as it does that if you dont go into the device manager and disable the handsfree option under the sound devices (Not the bluetooth ones) Also get a 5.0 bluetooth dongle to connect. Sound is bass enriched also i use nahmic sound booster with it. My only critic is i have a weird left ear so the bud shape slips out unless i moisten the ear to give it something to grip to so the ear slips could use some roughness to it. Other pointed earbuds work fine

4 years later review
So I've had the hammerheads for over 4 years now and in the last year I've wanted to replace them but not got round to it. In-ear headphones always fall out of my ears and these were the best option at the time. When I bought them, they were £100 as they were brand new but for £40, I would say its worth it for an everyday headphone. The sound quality is fairly good but in noisy environments, it is sometimes difficult to hear them even after turning up the volume on the phone. In contrast, when the headphones 'announce' something, it can be incredibly loud in your ear when it says "Disconnected", "Bluetooth connected" or "Gaming Mode". Issues I have encountered: Connectivity - The headphones range has been very wishy-washy with music cutting out even with my phone in my pocket. Not sure on the total range of them but its not great compared to other competitors. Sometimes i've been able to go into a different room and they continue playing fine but sometimes they cut out for no reason. The main gripe I have in terms of connectivity is the inconsistency with connecting to a device. Numerous times I would turn bluetooth on my phone or laptop on and try to connect the earbuds but the red text "couldn't connect" appeared far too frequently. Even after opening and closing the earbud case and tapping the hammerheads in the bluetooth menu, they still refused to connect. Even turning bluetooth off and on again sometimes doesn't work. Durability - Most of the time, these headphones are fine with a drop including the case but on the odd occasion, one headphone may cut out but simply placing both in the case and reopening it solves this. When its raining and you have a raincoat hood up, it will pause or skip songs as it thinks the coat is a finger tapping on the sensor so wear a beanie or a hoodie underneath the coat hood to sort this Gaming mode - This is a mode I haven't really used as in day-to-day use, I just listen to audiobooks or music and a bit of latency is fine. When I have tested it, I works great but the "Gaming Mode" announcement voice is far too loud as mentioned earlier. Volume - Sound wise, the headphones are fine but lacking a bit of bass compared to others. On my phone, around the one third volume section, there is a weird increase in amplitude where the headphones go from a little bit too quiet to too loud but there is no way to solve this. This could just be my phone but its irritating to deal with. Microphone - The earbuds have a decent microphone and I've regularly used it for phone calls or speaking on my laptop. Its about average for earbuds and nothing to shout about. Overall, with the current price of them, they are adequate for daily use but there are definitely much better alternatives out there now. I'd recommend keep looking and find a better brand than razer
