Taste is good! More tart than sweet and does NOT leave a nasty aftertaste. My 10 year old likes them but I have to remind no more than two a day as they are not candies! 🤣 They are effective with mood swings and should be taken in the day even though it says they help with sleep. They do not make my child sleepy. It’s a perfect nutritional supplement for magnesium and helps to keep kids and adults regular with bowel movements.

Maybe this is what this magnesium does -- but when I take it...it feels like my throat gets all swollen. I know it's not an allergic response. It might just be muscle relaxation as it works down my throat - I don't know. But it's uncomfortable. For chewable, they taste fine. My husband will finish them out - had to go to a different product.

I have tried a lot of chewable magnesiums, and have settled upon this as my favorite. It's the most effective one for the money. It's not incredibly delicious like some of the candy-like magnesium gummies I used to buy, but it is definitely pleasant-tasting, and not a chore to consume. Best of all, I only need to take one per day. With other brands I've tried--from the yummie ones to the cheap and unpleasantly sour tablets--I had to take several. I only need to take one of the Seeking Health tablets for them to do the job. I'm a repeat customer now, and intend to stick with this brand.

This product uses xylitol as a sweetener. It is a sugar alcohol, as are sorbitol and maltitol. A lot of people have sensitivity to these sweeteners because they cause gastrointestinal distress. I have no idea if this product is effective.
