I bought this for my wife and she loves it! Yeah, it's kind of spendy but it works. As far as people complaining about no battery or charger? They must be reviewing a different one, because this is tool only even though it is not mentioned.

Easy to use and lightweight
I am an old lady that still likes to do her own yard work. I can’t handle the gas powered trimmers and electric makes no sense when you have a big property. This trimmer is super light and so easy to use. Perfect for me. I call it my Granny Trimmer.

The trimmer is OK but it does not come with a Battery & Charger as stated in the product description. Beware!

Runs great, easy to assemble
This ryobi weed eater is easy to put together and run. Works great.

Good quality - functions fine.
It's very similar to one I used to own but came unassembled. I found the instructions for putting it together of little help. The delivery time was much longer than I anticipated due to customs delays. The battery was smaller than the usual 18V so work time was limited. I changed it out for a larger battery I had already.
