Good Quality Product
I bought these couple of weeks ago and since then have crimped a couple times. However I bought it for long term use and will be putting it to work in the near future to my new ethernet setup across my home and an office.✔✔✔✔✔PROS:✔✔✔✔✔✔ Pretty durable and good quality construction.✔ The crimping teeth are very good.✔ Crimps in one punch.✔ Handle made of plastic with a good quality rubber coating for added grip.✔ The wire stripper worked very good and are razer sharp, cut through a cat5e with ease.✔ Ratchet system is very useful while crimping and also helps in keeping it in a pressed condition to save space in toolbox.✘✘✘✘✘CONS:✘✘✘✘✘✘Packaging was not up to the mark, just a amazon branded plastic to ship in, the packages was having creases and the covering was cracked due to shipping so I wish the seller improves on that front. One star deducted for packaging.◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘VERDICT:◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘All in all pretty satisfied with the product for a price of Rs 498 it is a very good crimper, way better than the cheapo ones out there. Buy it you will not regret.

Does not cut wires
The part that you are supposed to use for cutting the wires in a straight line prior to inserting them into the connector and crimping them does not work. It seems that there is too large a gap between the blade and the groove into which it is supposed to descend when the tool is at the closed position. Because of this, the wires get bent but not cut. It seems like design issue more than a defect. As for the actual crimping function, it just about works. For some reason, the second pin doesn't get pushed down always. I am not sure if this is related to the connector, though it could be. However, it happened twice and all the pins did not seem to get pushed down to the same level.Overall build quality seems decent enough. Maybe the issues were in this unit only but I doubt that's true for the cutting section. If this were a 300-400 rupee tool, I would have excused it. At the 498 INR purchase price, I expect it to perform all functions to a reasonably good degree. Maybe that expectation is too high but I didn't feel that my purchase was justified. I returned it.Build quality - 4/5Sleeve stripping - 4.5/5Pre-crimp wire cutting - 0/5Crimping - 2.5/5Overall - 3/5

Works fine
This review from a network professional. The tool is un-branded but it worked flawlessly on the first attempt. Its a Chinese copy of the Crimper marketed by D-link. The tool is well built and well finished. It is certainly good for light use. I am using it for my home network where only cat5 cables used. Cannot say how it will perform if we use cat6 or cat6e cables.

Quite sturdy and easy to use
Perfect for crimping rj45 Ethernet cable connectors and telephone/intercomm cables. It is not a cheap one, infact quite sturdy and very easy to use. If the price is not an issue, this is the best one you could get.

Two tools, but one works properly and the other doesn't !
We bought 2 nos of the same item and though both these tools were nearly identical in every respect, but they did not crimp with the same precision !On continuous usage, we found one of them to be working perfectly every time, but the second one would sometimes break the RJ45 plug itself after crimping. There seems to be a very minor difference in the crimping mechanism for the RJ45 plugs between the two tools !So, finally, we ended up using only the one which works properly every time and does not break the RJ45 connectors !

Ok for casual purpose
This is a decent tool with a build that's neither flimsy nor stellar. I suppose it's intended for casual/rare usage. I had to terminate 4 ends and worked well for 3 of them. Not sure if the faulty job is on account of the rather fragile looking connector I used (sadly, the only one available nearby) or the tool. I'd look for better quality if you're planning on terminating more than 25 connections.
