I have 16 motorcycles parked in temperatures from 20-90F degrees with AGM and flooded-acid batteries. I also have several RV deep-cycle batteries. I purchased 3 of these charger/maintainers to replace others brands I have been using for several years. I have since purchased 3 more as I believe this new style has better control of overcharging over long term use according to my external voltage measurements in all temperature conditions. It is not rated to be waterproof but looks like it is sealed pretty well. The clips, wires and pigtails seem well made and comes with a 15AMP fuse in the battery quick connector which is large enough for my heated riding gear. At $60-100 for any new batteries, the dreaded no start and wait time for a new battery to ship is my largest concern. My only con to these chargers is that while it's nice that the display reads charging voltage when charging, and then reads FUL when charge is complete, it no longer shows' voltage when FUL.

This battery minder is well made, does exactly what its supposed to do and has a price point that's a good value. So why the three star review? Most people who use a battery minder regularly will permanently connect the charging leads to the battery lugs, as I did too. The problem is that when you want to use the vehicle and disconnect it from the charger, they did not include a plastic cap to cover the exposed charging connectors and that can allow a short circuit to occur while driving that can damage the battery or worse (slight risk of fire). My other brands of battery minders all came the a plastic cap (cover) that snaps on over the exposed plug when I'm not connected to the minder. Small but very important oversight with this product.

I have had this item for a week and have used it to top off a few batteries around the house, automotive and lawn tractor. It came in on time and is very easy to use. The only issue I have is that it doesn't have a repair mode which other bands have to desulfate the battery but other than that it seems to work well sofar.

Hadn’t started my emergency generator for over a year. Guess what-battery dead!This little unit works great. And the accessory plug with battery terminal rings is plenty long enough to permanently install on the battery inside my generator and stick out past the battery cover. The protective end caps provide peace of mind when not connected to the unit. Both cables from the unit are plenty long enough for me to mount on the wall and still reach an outlet & my generator. Probably won’t ever use the cable clamps since I have a battery jump starter anyway. By the way this unit is NOT for jump starting a car. It is a battery “maintainer” or trickle charger.

The battery get drained out within a week because I don't drive my car that much nowadays. In order to charge the battery I have to either jump start or start my car within 2-3 days. I got side tracked for something else and the car was dead. Had to call AAA for help. I got a recommendation from driver to get a battery tender. After going through selections and I picked this model. It works great for me, easy to use and the reading is good. So I just top it off in 2-3 days to get the battery 100% charged. It'll tell you when the charge is complete. Nice!!! It's a keeper for me. Wish it came with a pouch.

This is the third one that I’ve bought. Great gifts for Christmas. Every car owner should have one in their car. This is a battery back up for charging your battery if it goes dead. Also works on boats motorcycles lawnmowers. 6 V to 12 V. It’s an emergency back up battery charger that will help you jumpstart when your battery’s dead. Extremely inexpensive and important safety item you should have an every car! Highly recommend everyone have won the price you cannot beat.

I purchased to charge some DIY battery backups I built using LiFePO4 batteries. The charger is easy to use and has worked without problem. It came with multiple accessories for attachment to the battery bank. Keep in mind that this is a maintainer (slow charger). This works great for my purposes as I use it to top up the battery every other month. If I have to do a full charge of the 48ah battery, it will take 24 hours + to do this. This is also fine with me as the batteries I am using (3x16ah Miady LiFePo4) are better with a slow charge. I recommend the product if it fits your needs.

I was previously using a Deltran charger on a truck that sits most of the time and it kept triggering my aftermarket car alarm (which is what was making the battery die in the first place). I decided to try this type instead, and so far no false alarm triggers. It has kept my battery charged so i am very happy with the purchase.
