BRILLIANT
Likes:Very comfortable to sleep in - i was sceptical at first as i find even silicone earplugs uncomfortable and i have to keep adjusting them. These buds are small and fit perfectly and i get no pain or discomfort from them during the night. There are different sized ear pieces in the box so you have a range of sizes to chose from - the ones that came with the buds were perfect for me.The app is easy to use and there is an extensive range of sounds/audio to chose from. Personally i have tended to opt for the 'one tone' sounds such as 'altitude' as it is a steady noise at a perfect pitch. as i struggle to switch my mind off i find that anything other than a 'steady' noise makes me distracted (what can i say i have adhd!)The sound level is easy to adjust and when my other half's snoring wakes me up i have found that once i increase the level i can get back to sleep. Fortunately the sound is perfectly pitched (i guess that's because its Bose) that even with it 'up' it doesn't cause discomfort or pain.Sleep - since using the earbuds my sleep has been hugely improved and even if i do wake i have been able to drift back to sleep by focussing on the sound. I have previously tried meditating/body scans etc but i have found it too much mental effort in the middle of the night when all i wanted to do was bloody sleep. The ear bud case - small, compact, elegant, light. Easy to recharge - you get about 3 night use before you need to recharge.Cost - yes they are not cheap. However, they are the best things i have bought and i cannot recommend them enough. If you struggle to sleep i would encourage anyone to get a pair.Dislikes - can't think of any really. Worth every penny.

A Game-Changer for Light Sleepers
I've been a light sleeper for years to the the point where even my partner's breathing can keep me awake, while snoring is a next-level annoyance that's led to my many sleepness/restless nights. I've tried high-end ear plugs but nothing worked. I spent the money on these because I was out of options - and if it didn't work, I could send them back to Amazon for a full refund. Well, I'm keeping them. My quality of sleep has drastically improved. These things DO work and I'm shocked at what a difference for the better they have made. No, there is no noise cancellation - which put me off buying these for months - but what I'm finding is that the noise masking genuinely works in isolating me from the surrounding environment. Only the very loudest of snoring gets through and it that happens, you just increase the volume. The white noise and ocean sounds tracks work best. I'm not keen on the various 'tranquil' music tracks which I actually find annoying, but otherwise, the Sleepbuds and a good eye mask are just the job in isolating me from the world and getting long, uninterrupted sleep.Design: not bad. Fits into the ear nicely, has a very low profile, and I have no problem with sleeping on my side. Also interesting - if you're over-thinking things at bed time and can't silence your 'inner monologue', the noise effects do help in quietening your mind down, making it easier to get to sleep. Strange but true.I've no idea if it will be the same for everyone else, but if you're at your wits' end, if you're out of options and if you're willing to lay down top dollar, Bose Sleepbuds II might be the way forward to get a good night's sleep. My only criticism? A couple of nights I've taken the buds out of the charging dock only to find they haven't properly charged or I wake up in the middle of the night with one or both buds having run out of battery. What I do now is to come back during the day and use the app to make sure they are gaining charge - but really I shouldn't have to. By the way, fully charged, I seem to get around 12 hours of battery life.

Overpriced and sometimes fall out, but otherwise a really great product.
I was very sceptical when purchasing this, considering how much you are paying for such a limited function. However, the one thing it does do, is done very well. I struggle to sleep with any kind of noise (either road noise or snoring). I tend to sleep with a fan on, as I enjoy white noise, but it doesn't drown sound out too well. Since I have started wearing these, I have slept a lot better. Although they only mask sound, they are definitely enough to drown out quieter sounds completely (road noise and quiet snoring), and enough to take the edge off from louder sounds. There are a lot of sounds to choose from, but I tend to stick to Engine noises, as they're soothing and monotonous. They do take a few days to get used to as it's weird sleeping with stuff in your ear, but I'm used to it now. I am a side sleeper and find they work fine, since they sit very flush in your ear. However sometimes if you lie in a way where you put pressure on the device, it can feel a little bit weird. The reason I gave 4* was 2 reasons really. One being they are very limited in what they can do for such a high price. They can't stream songs and you can't load your own sounds. The collection is quite large but what you have on the app is your only option. I knew this going in, but was curious to see if they would sort my sleeping problem out. The second problem is that they do fall out reasonably frequently. It's not too much of an issue as they stay in long enough to fall asleep in. The most annoying part about it is if you d wake up in the middle of the night and have to try find it in the dark. You get 3 sizes, but I find the largest ones stay in but hurt my ears. The middle one sits very comfortable but does fall out from time-to-time. The small size barely stayed in at all.Overall, if you struggle with noise when sleeping, these are absolutely worth a try. You have the 30 day return window so give it a couple of weeks to get used to them and by then you will know if they were right for you or not. They are expensive but a price I was happy to pay considering how much better I sleep.

Do not buy!
The Bluetooth does not work after the first couple of months. Waste of money.

Great for my OCD brain
I waited a couple weeks before i gave a review. So here it is:Reason for buying:I have had trouble sleeping due to my OCD. Nothing to do with street noise or any of that sort. It’s because I focused so heavily on negative things and my brain wouldn’t shut off.The Fit/feeling:I thought I would have trouble with the fit because I’m a stomach sleeper. The first couple nights it took some getting used to, not because of discomfort but because I’ve never slept with earplugs or anything in the past. Once I got over that. I barely notice them. The sound clips:I haven’t tried many of them as there are a few I really like that seem to work every time. “Showers” being my favourite. It takes my overactive brain to a happy place, creates a calm environment that seem to melt the worry and stress of the day away in just a few minutes.I tried the “synthesized” sounds like deep organ meditation music but the sounds just loop. And being a musician I kept anticipating a change in chords, but they don’t happen. I wasn’t a fan, but those trying to block out noise might like them perhaps?Battery life: battery life seems good. I have them on continuous throughout the night and they lasted two nights of 6 hours of sleep without charging. I now have them plugged in every day next to my bed so I’m not really concerned.Overall: the price had me wondering if I was nuts to spend this kind of money on something that doesn’t play my music. But I was so desperate to find a cure for my sleeplessness I figured I would give it a go. After the first couple nights I thought they weren’t worth it. They weren’t that effective but I think it was because it was so different. After a couple weeks, I couldn’t be happier. I fall asleep faster, I get quality sleep and my dreams have become so vivid it’s almost a treat going to sleep wondering what kind of messed up dream I’m about to have. No nightmares but they trigger something because I don’t remember having dreams like this before, and I almost never remember dreams at all. That is probably the one drawback- my dreams were so freaky at first I woke up several times the first few days. Conclusion: if you have OCD or trouble with your thoughts like I do, these may be the solution. Although I went back and forth wondering if I should return them, I’m so glad I didn’t. They have literally changed my life.

Skumt
