Sexy and romantic
This is one of the best BL /Yaoi I've ever read. The main couple are both mature adults, with very different lives, who choose to have a sexual fling. A fling that starts to develop into something more as they get to kniw one anotherIt's so refreshing to have no dubious consent or non-con. And no high school. The sex steamy and explicit, but also romantic: Takafumi is experienced, but is gentle and considerate toward Shuji for his first time. I love how developed the characters are and the natural build in the relationship. And the art is lovely, clean and detailed. I cannot wait to start volume 2 and hope there are many more to come.

Sweet and Funny
I rarely buy fiction that I haven't already read, but I took a chance on this one after seeing the sample. It hooked me hard. I eagerly bought the second and third volumes (as soon as the third became available). The main characters have strong, unique personalities. They both have matured out of boyhood, neither are a substitute for a woman (as in, the writer couldn't have swapped the gender of one of the men and still had the same story), and they aren't being forced into a romance. If there's fate here, then it's a gentle and tentative fate. There is, also, no rape! I think it's embarrassing how common non-consensual sex is in romances. The closest act to act to rape in this trilogy is a stolen kiss. What about the art? It's just about perfect. Take a look in a sample. The men are nice to look at, and they display their personalities in every pose. The props and backgrounds are drawn in detail. On re-reads, I also noticed how wonderfully symbolic the "camera" views are.I've read this book more times than I'll admit, and it still makes me smile. The banter might be the best part. The only turn-offs for me was the romanticized chain-smoking and the title. Hasn't every writer tried to name a work "Hide and Seek" by now? One of these days, I'll give it my own pet name. When it's time.

Very cute, just needs more details
I've read all 3 books. Only thing this series suffers from is a lack of explanation for some of the supporting characters which at times can make some the story weird as it progresses since you're not sure why certain things are brought up... But either way it's a very cute manga and if you're looking for something short and sweet (from all three books) then I'd recommend it. I hope for more from the author further down the line.

Love this story!
I stumbled across this series when searching for Bond of Dreams, Bond of Love in print in English. I love Yaya Sakuragis art and how expressive her characters are, so when I saw the series I downloaded it without even reading the synopsis. And it was worth it!The story of Shu and Doc is very refreshing because it's centered around two working adults instead of the typical bl high school story (which are great, don't get me wrong). There are misunderstandings and interactions that older readers can relate to and most of the time I find myself giggling out loud while reading. It's more tame than some yaoi, but just saucey enough to keep you interested.

Off to a great start.
Nice pacing, likable characters, child is not annoying, *very* small cast of "extras" (no constant presences aside from the MC's young daughter), plot is not unique (it's about falling in love--nothing unique about that as a basic premise) but it's well executed and the details are engaging.Yeah, there are tropes (single father, single father with precocious child, serious seme, uke was straight before meeting seem, etc.), but they're just facts--they don't rule the story. There are also a few translation errors ("past" instead of "passed", sketchy wording) but nothing that threw me out of the story.(Oh, and this is definitely a series. The end of this volume, while not exactly a cliffhanger, does not really provide much closure.)Already purchased Vol. 2!

One of the best BL manga released in the US
I was so happy when I heard this manga was licensed for the US. It has interesting characters, good pacing, the relationship is kind of hot, and the whole story has a decent dramatic plot that isn't overly reliant on the whole love triangle thing.I generally find SuBLime to be one of the better BL publishers active currently, and this book doesn't disappoint. The translation is good (I wouldn't always have made the same choice of names/words, but that is always going to be a matter of opinion), the printing is high quality (no cut-off edges of panels), and as far as I could see all of the special effects text was translated to English. There is also (a very welcome) lack of non-consensual sex, which makes this a good series for people new to the whole BL genre.

Love it.
This is, to this day, my favorite Yaoi Manga. It's the tale of a relationship between two healthy adult males who are hilarious and perverted. They run into problems, they have lots of fantastic sex, and it's all told in Sakuragi's beautiful art style. This series was refreshing to me, because all too often it's the "Younger boy with older man" story, and this isn't that at all. There is no abuse or rape or incest or even a huge age gap. It's just a great love story between two consenting adults.

Loved this series . . .
. . . when you could only read it in can translations. The characters are interesting and engaging. Sakuragi-Sensei's drawing is so elegant with their long lines and fluted finger tips. I look forward to purchasing more English translations of Japanese manga on Amazon.

Really nice BL read
Hide and seek is about the blossoming romance between a gay doctor and a bi-curious single dad. Although the relationship starts out as a casual fling it gently progresses into something more. The art style is crisp and clean and let's the reader better understand the characters making for an immersive read, would reccomend.

The good doctor is a great lay
Takafumi goes to the store to buy toys, starts talking with Shuji, and Shuji happens to mention the boiler has broken down, so he can’t bath at home. And the doctor offers the use of his bathroom, and Shuji goes over to his house that evening. They talk and Shuji teases Takafumi, by telling him he can do whatever he wants. He’s never been with a man and is curious. They have sex and Shuji is blown away; basically, he becomes hooked. The good doctor is a great lay. And, of course, he starts to gradually develop feelings for Takafumi, sees him again, and they go on a date.Okay, what made this yaoi absolutely wonderful: mature characters and an awesome romance. Period. Straight man Shuji has a great sense of humour and a willingness to try anything once, and the gay Doctor Saji, despite the fact he’s too serious and lacks confidence at times, really is a great guy. Both men need a little guidance, which they seem to provide for one another.
