Great for potters. Love these. They are now a required tool for all my beginner students.

Works for reaching into hand built clay vases and mugs. My pieces don’t lose their shape. Works well to,reach into narrow and deep spaces and avoid messing the shape up using a regular sponge with my hands. All Xiem products are the best and worth the few extra dollars. Would’ve liked it to come with an extra sponge, butmitsmeasynenough to order a replacement.

Xiem Tools Stainless Steel, Rubber Handle Telescoping X-Sponge II with Sponge, 8-1/2 - 23 in I have finally started throwing pottery that is tall enough to use this tool. This is a perfect tool for me because my hands are often larger than the opening of my current projects. I have several Xiem products and have been extremely happy with the quality of their tools. The telescoping handle moves smoothly and is well worth the money.

Follow the instruction, wet first and then use it. I personally still prefer my sponge on a stick I made with a chopstick, sponge and a glue gun. But the telescopic handle is super handy.

This is a great product. Many sponges on a stick are poorly attached and move when you try to use them. This one is rock solid.....no unintended rotation. I even use my in place of a throwing stick for tall, thin pots. I am sure this puts extra strain on the sponge but it is holding up. Like I said, it is rock solid. No surprise, everything I have bought from this manufacturer is very well made. The telescoping aspect also makes it easier to use and easy to store.

This thing is my second one of these. The handle is great, however the old one had a very hard and almost completely unusable sponge on it. This one does not have that problem and it is made to the usual very high standards of Xiem. This does cost a lot more than a dowel rod with a sponge zip tied on the end, but it also much cooler looking to pull out of your tool box.

In the photo looks like 3 deferent size tools but it is one plastic handle with a sponge which other people have comment it comes off after few use … 🤷🏽‍♀️ now i am scared to use it 🙄

I love it. It's perfect for cleaning inside of large deep pieces.
