120 grit dresser can be used on 150 grit wheel?

I do not see a problem with that. I use the 36 grit on a 120 grit wheel for the initial dressing. Remember the dresser squares up the face of the grinding wheel. The rate of cut is related to the pressure you apply. I would recommend lighter pressure on finer grit grinding wheels.

I assume you are talking about a an abrasive chop saw. I wouldn't use it.

The grit of your grinding wheel does not change, it is consistent throughout the entire wheel. The dressing tool is intended to square up the wheel and remove any "slick" spots caused by material that has attached itself to the wheel by grinding. Basically, the dressing tool takes the wheel back to an almost new condition.

The 120 grit wheel dressing tool should clean up your Dremel-size stone. If possible, remove as much of the aluminum with a dental pick or similar tool first. The dressing tool will flatten and square up your grinding wheel nicely. It might be helpful to place the dressing tool in a vise while squaring up the grinding wheel.
