VERY STURDY. I write that in all caps because when it’s locked in it’s very hard for the pull-up bar to slip or move AT ALL. I have had it in the same spot since unboxing it and I have not noticed any structural damage. Any product damage or any safety hazard as long as you follow directions and use adult supervision for minors.One thing I did wish it stretched out alittle more longer for where I wanted to put it but it’s not a deal breaker. Pads are very comfortable and adjustable to close grip or wide grip. Easy to assemble and as I said VERY STURDY

As someone who has used similar products in the past, I was excited to try this one out but was quickly let down.The first issue I encountered was the installation process. Despite following the instructions to the letter, I found the bar to be extremely difficult to install. The brackets did not fit securely on my door frame and I had to use a lot of force to get them to stay in place. Even then, I was not confident in the stability of the bar and was hesitant to use it for fear of it coming loose and causing an accident.Overall, I would not recommend the SHINYEVER Pull Up Bar for Doorway to anyone. It is poorly made and difficult to install, and does not provide a secure or stable platform for exercise. There are plenty of other, better quality pull up bars on the market, and I recommend looking into one of those instead.

Like happens so often, there were a ton of choices on Amazon to choose from. I picked this over the others because it seemed like it would be secure and able to handle heavy use. I was not disappointed. Getting it extended was a little confusing at first as far as how to twist to extend it, but once I figured that out, I was good to go. I tried it in two doorways. The first was narrower, and the bar was super stable. I was worried about putting marks in the door frame, so I moved it to an area with a sturdier frame. That one was wider, so I had to extend the bar more. On first use there, I wondered if the bar would be as secure because it had a little more play when fully extended. But I've used it daily and have had no issues. The hand grips and middle foam piece are more than comfortable. I really appreciate the extra clips that help to ensure the bar stays in place. If you have to move it frequently, it's a little cumbersome making sure that you get it level because the ends are "top heavy" as you adjust. That would probably happen with any bar like this. And the versatility of being able to use this for so many exercises makes that a moot point. I would definitely recommend this product.

This really surprised me. Didn’t think it could hold me but hold up. Make sure the door you use is sturdy or the bar will break it. Great tool.

When putting this bar up it compressed the door frame and caused permanent damage. Since the damage was already done, I decided to just use it and it collapsed in the middle of a pull up and injured my knee when I fell. Maybe it would be ok if you have very solid wood or metal door frames

I love this pull-up bar!!! So many great features:1) No screws needed which means no damage to the house2) The grips are super squishy which is very comfortable!3) Super easy to install, just some twisting neededThe only unnecessary improvement I can think to add would be a built in level but it's easy enough to grab one!

Honestly, it’s a really nice product, or at least it seems like it is. The thing you only find out much later, is the damage it does to your doorframe. It completely destroyed the wood of the frame. So I tried it on a metal frame and it’s caused the posts to disconnect from crossbar!

Affordable and easy to install, no need for any tools!! Great for temporarily work out at home while gyms are still closed around us :(Fits any door even our wide door ( we had to extend it to the max)
