Illumination Control lacking
Installed in my 2005 Duramax. Great display quality and easy enough to customize. The illumination control from the dash control wheel does VERY LITTLE! I was upset that it was not better controlled that way, but now that I have got into settings and reduced color and brightness, it's okay. Don't expect to dim from the vehicles dash control. Over all, quality and appearance is good. Links to the phone wireless, or with wire. Purchased for screen size, resolution, camera hook up abilities, and wireless phone connection/controls (all good). I wish it would also allow rear camera recording, and have the switch wires for side camera activation (not just backup switch). Overall, good.

Amazing head unit
Put this in a 2015 Toyota 4runner that did not have CarPlay. I couldn’t be happier. It’ll sticks out a couple inches from the console, but the trade-off for me is completely worth it. No issues with buginess or lag or anything like that. 100% completely pleased with my purchase.

I bought this item brand new , when we installed it. The item does not get any power.
