Works as a router, bridge mode is misleading.
Have to give it 1 star because the manufacturer doesn't know what the word "Bridge" means. If you bridge a cable modem, the security features of the modem are disabled and the device becomes a direct connection to your computer/router. If you bridge a DSL modem, again, your drive is now required to use PPPoE authentication to connect directly to the DSL providers network. Well, these guys missed the fact that a wireless bridge is supposed to put a wired device onto the wireless network as if it is connected to that network. Well, their "bridged" mode still has a router in the middle. Will this allow you to connect a non-wireless device to a wireless network via an Ethernet port? Sure, but that device is on a completely different network. The LAN is hard coded with a 192.168.x.x network interface and your computer receives a 192.168.x.x IP address from the "bridge".

Finally!
This thing works great! I do a lot of PC work and the one thing that drives me nuts is getting internet on a desktop. Now instead of messing with long cables I can just plug this in and get internet to any PC with an ethernet port. It's great. One thing I noticed was that it seems to limit my download to 20 mbps. I normally get 50. It could be the fact that it's running off of usb power. However, for the price, I'm not gonna complain. This fixed a problem I've had to just deal with for more than a decade now. Also, it does seem to work with usb 2.0 which was something I wasn't sure about, but decided to take a chance.I'd also recommend a usb extension cable for this as with the ethernet cable hanging it puts a good amount of torque on the usb socket. I'm not saying it will damage them, but a usb extension made me feel more comfortable about it.

Great device for the price.
For the price you cannot beat this device. I am using it to connect my VoIP phone to my home router which is too far away to run an Ethernet cable to. (Bridge Mode) The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that if your home router changes channels, you have to log back into the device and then rescan for your wireless and connect the bridge again. Really my voice quality has been flawless and I have been running my phone on it 24/7 for 3 months.
