Great read!
Very interesting. Some challenging vocabulary for me, but nothing indecipherable. I'm a high intermediate or low advanced Spanish speaker - it's my second language. I read this book in 2 or 3 days and will likely come back to it in a few years.

Poor quality edition
The edition is almost impossible to read. I guess the undisclosed publisher takes advantage that the book is already in the public domain, so I received a rush version printed on demand, with very poor quality and 7.5 font. The only information is that the book was "Made in United States," a couple of days after I ordered it.

No lo compres
El libro es bueno pero la letra es tan pequeña que no se puede leer, te quedarás ciega/o.Si lo imprimieran en letra más grande, al menos 10-11, sería posible leeerlo pero así tan pequeño para ahorrar papel es muy cutre.

For the Spanish speaker, how she is spoken a century ago
I bought it along with "El Filibusterismo" as a gift to my Spanish-speaking doctor to thank him for service that went beyond expected.It is the original from over 100 years ago. I'm sure he appreciated it!

katastrophale Edition
Dieses Buch bringt mich zu der Entscheidung, nie wieder Bücher bei Amazon zu kaufen. Nachdem man (zeitungsbekannt) ja nach und nach die anerkannten Verlage aus dem Sortiment wirft, fängt Amazon nun mit verheerendem Ergebnis an, Bücher selbst zu drucken - so auch dieses, "printed by Amazon Distribution GmbH, Leipzig". Schriftgröße: ca. 5!! Selbst für einen 35jährigen ohne Augenfehler kaum zu lesen. Dazu fehlen Worte und Wortteile, und woher weiß ich, dass nicht ganze Kapitel fehlen?? Das war's für mich mit Büchern auf Amazon. Da ich es schon vor Monaten gekauft habe, kann ich es nicht zurückschicken. Aber ich habe es neu bei einem spanischen Buchhändler bestellt und werde dieses Machwerk nach Erhalt des Richtigen vernichten.Es ist tatsächlich wahr, dass Amazon mit seinen Büchern die Kultur zerstört. - Sollte Amazon diesen Kommentar löschen, werde ich auch meinen bisher wöchentlich genutzten Prime-Account löschen.

La letteratura spagnola non è stata fatta solo dagli spagnoli
Da studente di letteratura spagnola, devo dire che un libro del genere meritava di essere letto. Arricchisce il quadro geografico, storico, politico e culturale nonchè sociale che riguarda il mondo hispanico.Elementi che mi sono piaciuti di quest'edizione di "Lecturas Hispanicas" sono stati il carattere scelto, grosso e ben leggibile. La scrittura non l'ho trovata complicata, giusto qualche termine in spagnolo e in tagalo che per curiosità ho cercato sul dizionario. Una cosa, però, che non sopporto è leggere libri a metà: quest'edizione è ridotta, l'opera integrale presenta circa 30 capitoli in più. Rileggendo le informazioni del prodotto, solo nella descrizione c'è scritto che si tratta di una forma "màs sencilla" dell'opera, quindi in parte è stato errore mio comprare una versione ridotta. Sul piano qualità/prezzo non c'è che dire, ottimo!
