I'll give this piece a 4 because it looks great. Unfortunately I lost my drone as it tumbled out of the sky over some swamp lands in Florida. I wish I could retrieve it, the Bush line to the swamp is too thick and Lord knows what other critters are watching over it. So I have a brand new system now and as soon as I get a chance I'll try it out. Who knows, maybe if I had it on then it would probably be stuck in a tree, possibly making it more accessible. Thank you however for a great piece of equipment!

Shame on me for not reading the comments before ordering as all the things memtion I indeed experienced. I had to loosen the screw on the skid because I was afraid to pull the legs apart. When I put the seeds back I ended up stripping the screw hole. That had nothing to do with the product tho.So you also need to pay attention to its install as there is a left and a right. It will only fit one was and not the other. And it does bow out the skids. It's not going to hurt it but it essentially looks like you have an expensive drone and a cheap add-on product that makes it look like the drone is poorly made. Now you have the issue of not fitting in case. I actually cut out the styrofoam to make it fit. You can do that with a kitchen electric knife.And lastly I'm not so sure it will do anything but this camera is a 500.00 replacement.,it is more expensive then the drone so I will work with it to see if it helps. I have read a few cases in the forum where it was praised. The thing that I can't understand is that these comments literally are the deciding factor for many as to buy or not buy. How for the love of God can the manuf. continue to market this in this manner. The only thing they need to do is make it about 3/8 of an inch shorter but no, they continue to make it and hope suckers like me dont read the posts. I was temped to save it myself but carbon material shatters very easily

This wedges in between the landing skids and fits pretty good but it is too big and causes the legs to stretch out in the front. You can then add the zip ties if you want. It does what its supposed to but you have to wonder, Will it actually protect the camera? I don't think it would so I am returning it.

I'm loving this item, so far it seems to be of good quality at a great price, No cons yet.

have not used it yet. Would be nice to have directions to put on.

I haven't even tried putting this on my Yuneec Q5004K because you can't put my 4K in a case with this on. It might be a great product but I wouldn't want to put it on and take it off every time I want to fly.
