It's not bad for what you get, the motion is very sensitive and we had to turn it down because it was going off for everything including leaves in the wind. You are quite limited in what you see in terms of the person at the door you literally just see their head and shoulders. I decided to send it back and get a ring doorbell but that's just because I wanted more of a view and because we wanted it to connect to my Alexa Echo show device. (I'm lazy and wanted to be able to always see who's at the door even if my phone was charging) you can't really fault this product especially if it's on offer. The only thing that I wasn't keen on was the night vision being black and white, with ring doorbell it's in colour and I would just prefer that because I'm a little bit fussy, but if you want a video doorbell at a reasonable price with Cloud storage for free and with a chime (which is extra with the ring doorbell) definitely get this product. The Chime is quite funny. I'm guessing it's a Chinese interpretation of some British tunes! We used the Titanic one and just as you're getting into it, it stops lol. It's not a bad device, I definitely think you should get it if you want to save money. We didn't even need to change the GHz to 2.4 it just connected immediately on the 5 GHz. I am mainly sending it back because I want to have a ring doorbell and connect with Alexa but other than that I would have kept it!

03/01/22I initially bought the version 7 doorbell last year and after a while encountered a few problems.Customer services was absolutely fantastic!! Very helpful and easy to deal with. Perfect!! They sent me a version 8 which is a little slimmer and has a new feature of recognising humans! Very clever.So far, so good. Working well!Recommended!! A+

Arrived quickly and simple to install. Small screws at bottom are a bit fiddly, but otherwise easy to set up and has been in place for a week. Battery dropped to 84% in that time, and have tried various levels of sensitivity to get optimum for detecting movement and preserving battery life. Highest setting begins videoing as soon as motion detected, but can then adjust to delay time before camera starts to save battery life. Currently have it set for 10 seconds so only activates when someone has been in view for that long. If person rings doorbell, video starts immediately and can converse with them from mobile phone to doorstep. Very pleased so far, and good value for amount paid. Would recommend.

I followed all the instructions correctly to my knowledge. At step 13 .?????? I tapped the live view and watched a small blue circle of dots until my battery got to 50% and nothing changed. So I went through the procedure 3 times. On the third go it suddenly showed a picture then after about 10 seconds a message appeared on my phone telling me someone was in the vicinity 😏. Then the system went back to not doing anything. I have a decent WiFi, I hav a 100ft garden and my laptop picks up the WiFi down there. The door bell is sited approximately 20 feet from the WiFi transmitter in the house. The door bell works 👏👏👏

I followed all instructions but couldn’t get live view on my iPhone However it worked fine on my wife’s phone. After an hour I figured out what was wrong. I switched of the VPN and it worked fineSo if you have VPN on your mobile switch it offOtherwise all seems well.

Bought this product along with the wireless door chime, but just can’t get the chime to ring , if you don’t have you’re phone next to you then you don’t know anyone is ringing the bell, it will send an alert to you’re phone but the chime won’t ring, I’ve tried the settings on the app but can’t figure it out, maybe someone can help.?

Don’t waste your money. It’s stopped charging up & when placed back in the holder cradle it doesn’t work at all. I would like a refund as I’m very unhappy about this as I bought the item for the purpose of having a wireless video doorbell & this one just doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. Very annoyed about this. DO NOT BUY

Set up: relatively easy. It took a LONG time to charge bell unit.Instal: physical instal as expected, but connection was extremely POOR! I have a networked house with two channel Wi-Fi available at 900Mb down and 50Mb up. I don’t use Wi-Fi as a preference but this only uses 2.4g, I tried to install on the main network then a booster location an then via a dedicated connection with a fixed IP. The signal was unusable even at less than 10 foot from my Wi-Fi 6 AX router, booster and second/third mesh hub on 2.4g.I avoid this product due to this, I have tested various connection methods over 3 months. (CRAP)The internal bell is hit and miss if it sounds, the phone app if it connects won’t allow voice connection, nothing worse than watching your parcel get taken away with the voice not connected.Tried to reach out to support but no response at time of posts, so should support be monitoring responses at Amazon please don’t ask me to contact by the app chat support….. it doesn’t work. And it’s an insane position to be in…..Good luck with yours and I hope if you use one it’s on top of your router!
