I purchased these before I read the reviews which I NEVER do, and I'm glad I did. The problem is not the belt, it's the design of my Hoover Pet steam cleaner itself. The belt lays directly on a metal peg. When you use the hand held attachment it suddenly stops the belt which causes it to shred because the motor is still going. When I replaced the belt I let it sit for a couple of hours before going right to turning it on so it could stretch a little. Had I not needed to use the hand held feature on the steam cleaner, I would have been able to continue using the belt with no problem.

Just please believe me and just save your money or spend the little extra for better quality belts. These are absolutely trash & terrible!! They are so cheaply made they literally just shred to pieces within 3-4 uses. I bought this 2 pack and put one on my carpet cleaner & used the upholstery tool 2 times which the belt doesn’t even have to work if the brushes aren’t rolling, & used the actual carpet cleaner once & while using the carpet cleaner for the first time since installing the brand new belt i smelled it burning and took the cover off and it was absolutely shredded to pieces as you can see in the photos I’ve included. So I installed the second one & the 2nd use of the carpet cleaner it was shredded again. So these are a total waste of money and will get you 2 maybe 3 uses of your carpet cleaner before you have to change again.

The size is right on... We'll see how long they last!

Great price for replacement belt

This came with 2 belts and I just use the 1st of the 2 and already I have to replace it with the second one. It just broke not even 20 minutes into using the shampooer, hopefully the second one doesn’t break. Smh

This is a good fit for the Bissell Carpet cleaner. Does take some time to take a part and then install but after you get it installed your carpet cleaner will work like a dream again.
