NOW Supplements, Sunflower Lecithin 1200 mg with Phosphatidyl Choline, 200 Softgels

I’m a Lactation Consultant and have been suggesting Sunflower Seed Lecithin for moms for many years. I send the picture because many moms aren’t familiar with it. It is helpful for relieving plugged ducts, mastitis, easing pumping, especially for working moms, exclusively pumping moms, and moms who donate milk to a milk bank. Moms tell me they start seeing the benefits in about 2 days but it increases effectiveness over the next couple of days. It is helpful for babies who have trouble emptying the breast such as preemies, or other babies who need some extra help. Sunflower Seed Lecithin is a healthy fat made from sunflower seeds. It makes the milk ducts less sticky and seems to help with removing the hind milk as the breast becomes more empty. None of the moms I have worked with have mentioned any negative results.

I bought these to help clear up mastitis. It seemed to help quickly, and I haven't had any breast pain since taking them. Ive not noticed any problems since taking these. My only concern is their size, they are huge!!

After exclusively pumping for 6 months, I can attest to the effectiveness of this supplement! If I take it routinely with breakfast, my supply is 3 ounces higher than it is when I slack and stop taking it. I have not had a single clog since adding it to my routine. Highly recommend!

First-time mom, for the first 4 months of my baby's life, my breasts were SO tender from breastfeeding. I would develop blocked milk ducts for seemingly no reason - I tried everything from massaging my breasts while pumping, massaging while taking hot showers, wearing loose clothing, sleeping solely on my back, you name it. It got to the point where I'd be in so much discomfort or pain that I would avoid holding my baby (as she'd often inadvertently hurt me) and I'd just hole up in my house. I highly recommend this to all breastfeeding mothers if they're going through the same thing I did, just double-check with your OB/GP if it's right for you!

Seems to be helping with my general well being, and memory. One should do some research and determine if it is worth a try. It has been worth it for me.

Wholesome ingredient

I use this product to keep mastitis and milk blebs at bay. When I stop taking this supplement I get sick so I have it on auto ship. For those looking on how to dose this item, you can take one pill at a time 2-3 times a day to properly maintain clear ducts. It says 2 pills per serving but that’s just for higher doses etc.

Update 5 2 2022 its been a month taking it and certainly my semen volume increased. it’s my first order from now foods but they really nailed it. product really works when you take it as a specified and there are no or least side-effects. as usual after 40+ you may see the decrease in semen volume but after taking this I think it’s improving and let us see whether cholesterol levels are decreasing or not.

Its a great supplement, i had severe engorgement starting from the third day postpartum, it wrks wonder i am 6 weeks postpartum now and still taking this supplement thrice a day

Excellent for keeping blocked milk ducts and mastitis away. One a day does the trick for me!
