Great value for the money
Unit installed easily and was configured quickly using the app. Don’t like that there is no management website like other meraki equipment but can’t beat it for the money.

Reliable & Stable
I came from a full-stack Ubiquiti setup and let me tell you, Meraki GO is far superior. Sure, you won't get all the fancy bells and whistles that UniFi offers, but the reliability and stability of this equipment far exceeds anything Ubiquiti has to offer.

Easy setup
I’ve had this running some Meraki ago PoE wireless access points for a couple months now, and it was pretty easy to set up. Basically create an account on their website, use the app to scan the QR code on the device, and then plug it in. It reaches out to the Meraki cloud, sees that you have already provisioned it in the app, and then installs all the updates it needs. It does not require any kind of additional licensing. In addition to the Meraki Go APs, I have some non-Meraki gear plugged into it as well. No complaints so far

Run. Don’t walk.
They paint a pretty picture. What you actually get is complete trash. The setup process is never 10 minutes. It always has updates to do, it never connects very clearly on the first try. Generally I have set them up and walk away for an hour or two. Then I troubleshoot. This resolves the issue of wondering why it just has a blue and red blinking light. Which the indicator lights are not consistently accurate. Now with that said, my product failed a few weeks back. It just stopped working. I tried some troubleshooting and contacted meraki. Took about 24 hours to get a response back every time. Most companies these days give you a person you can contact at a moments notice. Not Cisco. Good luck trying to talk to someone with their go products. Don’t expect their app to work every time too. I had to close the app twice before the “contact support” button actually worked. After about two weeks with them saying they can’t see the product is offline, I gave up. I should have had a replacement by now. Most other companies would do that. Honestly, just being able to speak to someone on the phone would have hopefully helped resolve some issues on the spot. Rather than some blanket emails of troubleshooting options to which I had already tried. I’ve used other far cheaper hardware before meraki go that failed at a lesser rate than meraki go products and I can call someone at a moments notice for troubleshooting. This is not my first failed meraki go product. Maybe I should have learned my lesson the first time.Lastly, the app. I hoped for an app that gave me a more hands on experience. Since that’s kind of what they are selling here. A more robust product for a small business. In the end, it’s a basic app that gives you a really basic experience.Since they stopped responding to my emails, I guess I’ll take the hint and move on.

Finally no more hangout video call drop off issues
With pandemic and work from home it is important to have reliable and consistent network in place. For some reason my existing setup didn’t work and I was constantly getting lag in my video calls. I would talk for tens of seconds and other folks will miss the entire conversation.Anyway after installing this switch, I have stopped having those issues.

AMAZING
Update: 9/15/21: Finally got in contact with someone who knew something and the issue was resolved in less than 5 minutes. Lesson learned, do not use 2FA, unless you have a need.Update 9/7/21: The 2FA quit working for me to log in and make changes. Been trying to get assistance from customer support for a week. Someone contacted me last week to provide some info, however never got any further. We use Meraki Enterprise grade stuff at work, so when my old home system died I went for this system at my house as I knew the name and as an IT professional understood how it worked. I paired this with an unmanaged switch as this doesn’t provide DHCP (IP addresses) for the devices. Also paired this with a Meraki Go indoor and outdoor wireless access points. Initial setup was a breeze to the point of being too simple. There isn’t a lot of customization available. I understand this was done for small businesses without an IT department on call to look after their network. My only real complaint is that this device is not capable of powering more than one access point through POE. The security gateway that is supposed to be used with the system is what would provide more power, however it only has a throughput of 250mbps, which is only 1/4 of what I get coming from my modem, which is why I didn’t go with it. Overall I’m happy with this system and have had zero issues with it.

Great find, great price
This was overkill for my needs but it allowed me to segregate my wireless non-computer traffic from computer traffic.Wanted PoE and VLAN. East to configurr and remote monitor
