I ordered them to use as heat insulating coasters so that I can keep hot vessels on a glass table. They work really well.. unlike silicone mats they dont stick to the surface due to suction force hence can be dragged around on the table while serving, are light weight, are big enough to fit the base of cooker, pan etc. One caveat could be that they arent super sturdy, so dont try lifting them with heavy things on top of it. Update after using for 2 months: these are difficult to clean once stained with food, be careful while using them.
