The BAYKA French Press Coffee Maker has been such a great addition to my kitchen, and not just for coffee. It’s very well-made with thick borosilicate glass and stainless steel, and it feels durable enough for everyday use. What I actually love most is using it to decant herbal oil infusions. It works really well for that — the 4-level filtration system helps separate out herbs cleanly, leaving a smoother final oil without a lot of leftover particles. It’s made the whole process easier and less messy compared to other methods I’ve tried. It’s also super easy to clean, which is a big plus. Everything comes apart easily, and I don’t feel like I’m fighting with it to get it fully clean after use. Of course, it works great as a traditional coffee press, making rich, smooth coffee without needing filters. We love this French Press. It's well made, performs flawlessly, and looks good on our kitchen counter! One word of caution, the glass beaker is pretty fragile. the first one we bought fell 6 inches from the counter into the sink and broke into two pieces. Ok, I should have been more careful, but we like this French Press so much that we immediately ordered another one.

*update* company reached out and send me a new one. I have had it for a few months now and it’s great. I really love this item, it makes the best coffee. But after just 2.5 months of use the glass has broken on me. I’m not rough with it. I put it in the dishwasher once a week. Trying to debate if I want to spend the money on another one. Probably not. In the photo it’s broken and chipped right into the pour spout.

Unit itself is nice and it's a good size. I usually only make one cup of tea so it works great for that but I could easily fit three in this. I'm actually using it to press fresh herbs and make tea as opposed to coffee. It works great to strain and nothing gets through. My biggest complaint with this unit is like so many others you can't heat it up on the stove. This one. You truly cannot even warm on the stove because it has a plastic base which I was not expecting. It is easy enough to take apart the screens to rinse which I have to do often because the little bits of plant material do get stuck. I got it when it was on sale and for the price I'm pleased with it.

I love that it makes a full 34 ounces too — perfect for two large mugs or sharing with someone (or just refilling your own cup without rebrewing). I also love using it for cold brew. The taste of the coffee is exceptional if you follow the included instructions. Cleanup is pretty easy overall, though the plunger can be a little tricky to unscrew the first few times. Once you get the hang of it, it’s fine — just be gentle with the glass when washing (I love that it's a beaker--I am a chemistry nerd). No real issues so far, but I did read a few reviews saying the glass can break or the base might leak. I haven’t experienced either, but I do handle it with care just in case. I did register for the extended warranty so that's a big plus. Bottom line: For the price, this is a great French press. It looks sharp, makes great coffee, and holds enough to actually enjoy more than one cup. If you’re looking to upgrade from a cheaper model or just want to start brewing better coffee at home, this one’s a solid pick.

Wurde kaputt und bereits gebraucht geliefert. Glas ist beschädigt und Produkt nicht sauber. Sehr ärgerlich, besonders bei der Lieferdauer. Retourschein muss zudem selber ausgedruckt werden.
