Straps and pads may need to be replaced after a couple few years of hard use.
I think the saying, "you get what you pay for," stands for these. May depend on how much time you spend in a tree with spikes, but they're super light and as comfy as something strapped to your leg can be. Have used and abused the same pair the last 3 years now and they were used a bit before I got em. Haven't had to replace a thing.

Rubber straps
I gave them a star in comfortbolity for 1 reason .... the straps that go over the foot is rubber it stretches alot...the spikes are razor sharp and the harness feels like ur not wearing spikes Fifty feet up in the tree and you can feel that strap over your foot kind of like stretching my comfortability goes out the window that strap stretching.....
