Perfect to refill our pouf! We read reviews and used an empty paper towel holder to transfer the beans to the pouf and it wasn’t too messy.

We love our big Joe chair but it needed lots of filler. This bag of filler was more than enough. The bag comes with instructions on how to fill the chair efficiently but was too much fun for our small kitten who kept pouncing on it causing lightweight foam to poof out for him to chase. Big Joe chair in full operation and comfortable refill saved us from buying another chair.

I have a regular size big joe I got on sale from Walmart and LOVE IT but after 6ish months it went so flat it won't sit by itself. This did a great job refilling it, but it also won't let you "overfill" it to be firmer which is what I was hoping. This is due to the nature of the stryofoam balls - they just conduct static so well they're impossible to remove entirely from the bag and impossible to rearrange inside the beanbag efficiently, especially without creating a huge mess. But it's still very comfortable, especially when you rearrange it to your comfort when you sit. If you follow the instructions and are VERY CAREFUL not to cut the hole too big, like I'd honestly go small and open it more if you need it, and go slow it's very easy to use and refill your bag with. Especially with the dual zippers, since you can adjust them to either side if you have a paperclip in each one. You WILL need a second person though, or something you can support the big joe in while you refill it, since it flops over you're getting the beads EVERYWHERE. As long as you don't get them all over yourself, you can easily vacuum them up as well. Just use them in as open an area inside your home as you can. DO NOT DO THIS OUTSIDE, both for environmental reasons and because even the slightest gust will make you lose aaaallllll the little balls, and as mentioned earlier you'll need every one you can effectively get out to refill your bag.

These are THE BEST beans for filling or refilling a beanbag chair. They make the chair firm but still flexible and fun to sit on. They hold up for years (this is our second beanbag chair and we've used these beans for both) and are way better than some other products made from chunks of foam. Highly recommend!!!

Ordered two bags and only needed one. Good price for the amount of filler - I was surprised. I’ve got one of those Pottery Barn Kids beanbags that was totally flat on the floor and stopped before I used the whole bag. I probably should have read some instructions but didn’t and quickly figured out that you need to stick something INTO THE BAG to pour out - preferably something rigid like cardboard but I only had paper - or it’s going EVERYWHERE and sticking to EVERYTHING. Which it did. So do yourself a favor: hide the cat, grab the vacuum, snip the corner, stick a tube in, tape it all completely shut and be patient. You’re not pouring this in all in one go. Vacuum as needed and good luck!

It takes a lot of these to refill a bean bag. I bought a huge bag to refill my Big Joe, to “fluff” it back up and didn’t have enough. I’ve since gone to memory foam to help as a filler (less mess). Neither are good for the environment. The beads are crazy static and go everywhere! I cut a tiny hole and taped a paper towel roll in the opening like a funnel. Those beads would literally fly out because of the static electricity so I had to clip the end of the funnel closed and unclip the funnel once the funnel was securely in the bean bag just to pour the beads into it. It was a pain to fill up and recommend getting help. So fill or refill your item in the kitchen or place with no carpet. Don’t do it outside or animals//birds might try to eat the beads. I also filled an ottoman but wish I hadn’t used these because it makes so much noise. It isn’t a bad filler! Just be prepared for the extreme static electricity and expect to make a mess if you don’t prep well!

This filling was just what we needed to bring life back to our foot rest, it now looks and feels much better. The recommend instructions were super helpful to minimize the mess while filling it. Also, the bag is huge! More than enough for our needs and now we have extra left for next time.

The product itself is great. It really puffed up my chairs and my sons enjoy it much more. Filling it wasn't too hard, although we had to do it outside. This leads me to the fact that the static electricity on these things is insane. They stick to EVERYTHING. The ground outside was stuck as well, and it really made it a pain to clean up. But, if you follow the instructions, it does limit it.

The product was great. Very lightweight and easy to handle and just two bags filled a large beanbag chair. So far - we've only been using it for 3 weeks or so - the stuffing is comfortable.

Volume, price and quality are tricky with bean-bag fillers. This product just about delivers. Not enough to top up our old Fat Boy, and certainly not enough for a whole chair, unless it's dog-size. And they feel like they will squish and not recover, like other reviewer said. Price seems to fluctuate a lot, so watch out. Overall, best of a bad bunch?
