This product is a very handy washable fabric stiffener. It's perfect for textiles. I've used it on hand crochet pieces to add a stiff form, for quilting, embroidery, as well as applied it to the edge of cut knit fabric to aid in creating a cover stitch hem. It washes out. So much better than having to press in fusible interfacing for a hem or mixing up old fashioned heavy starch.

I do like this product, but the three stars is because it takes ALOT of this spray to get he yarn to fully be saturated. For a big project I would need several bottles. Maybe I’m not using it right? It does work great, just on the surface, and I noticed where I had my macrame hanging, by a floor vent, it has loosened up since it’s been warmer in my house. I was in a pinch and found this, it worked for the time being, and it was worth the price. There really isn’t a scent which is great because I can’t do harsh scents. It sprays out white so you can see where you are spraying and then dries clear. Eager to see if there is a bigger bottle, or if I am supposed to be doing something else fancy with this product during use.

Sprays in a stream so doesn’t cover a very large area. Works on the areas it does hit.

I bought this to stiffen silk fabric for sewing. Silk is notorious for sliding around when you are working with it. This helps give it some rigidity and a little tooth, so it doesn't slink away from you. You do need to wash it out afterwards.

This product is horrible! The pump nozzle is the worst ever. It squirts out in different directions and will not spray where pointed. I used a different bottle that I had on hand and it sprayed like it is supposed to. After following the instructions, it barely stiffened the fabric but it left white stains which cannot be removed. Absolute garbage!

Used this to stiffen fairy wings for a costume. It works great! I’ve also been finding a million other uses for it. Washes out easy.

Ease of use: This has a pump action spray nozzle and I found this difficult to use. It was quite difficult to depress the nozzle and as a consequence the product didn't give an even coverage. It tended to splutter and spray everywhere as well as the fabric I was using it on. I ended up pouring a little into a small pot and painting it on with a brush. Functionality: The liquid does make the felt I used it on, go stiff overnight, but as the liquid is white in colour you can see where it has been applied, particularly on dark colours. I haven't washed anything I used it on so I am not sure if it comes out of the fabric well. I don't use it now, so it was an expensive mistake and I would not recommend it.
