WE Fairbairn’s Complete Compendium of Lethal, Unarmed, Hand-to-Hand Combat Methods and Fighting: Get Tough, All-In Fighting, Shooting to Live, Scientific Self-Defence, Hands Off! And Defendu

I bought the hard copy of this book since I have the individual works in paperback already. Someone stated it only has 5 of six book entries, my version has all six. This copy has great picture transfer quality and looks like the complete works. W.E. Fairbairn's works have been criticized by some, but they still hold up all this time. His work on point shooting is one that people criticize most because they do not understand how it's to be used. I highly recommend this book by someone who has been there and done it for real.

it is a combination of 6 different books by W.E Fairburn however i do notice that while skimming through the other customers complaints of the same info being there is true. still id recommend it because there is an abundance of info and the strikes while basic would likely be effective against actual people attacking you (i cannot say if they would be as i have fortunately not had the chance to try these and dont have any friends to spar with unfortunately) 50$ for 6 books full of knowledge from someone who taught the predecessors to the CIA and whatever the british equivalent (i know that the SOE became some other agency but not sure if its MI5 or something else im American forgive me for not knowing that) is a fair deal to me. id recommend sparring with some friends to test some of these with practice knives for Fairburns knife books if you bought those

I don't know that I would rely on this information for self-defense, there are more modern techniques out there. I bought this because I am interested in World War II. And it was Fairbane who trained up our Commandos and the rest of our soldiers. It was really enjoyable reading and learning what they learned to fight the good fight. Being a complete collection of his books, some of the information is repeated. I'm fine with that. So if you love history, particularly World War II, this is for you.

This is a beautiful book. The cover and illustrations are very nice to look at. The combative techniques give crucial targets that anyone can strike to put a bad guy out of commission. Five complete books are inside, so it is a generous amount of information.

Se per una vostra voglia collezionistica di avere tutti i manuali redatti dall'autore questo è il libro che fa per voi ma se sperate di trovare qualcosa di nuovo non è il libro che fa per voi;basta analizzare le foto per capire che sono le stesse identiche tecniche con soggetti diversi tanto che nel manuale all'in con le tecniche per i militari e quello hands out dedicato alle donne troverete come unica differenza in commandos britannico contro un soldato tedesco e nell' altro una donna ed in uomo; però costa talmente poco che lo perdono e dal punto di vista bibliografico hai tutti i manuali concentrati in un unico libro
