big issue for me in cut out part in aluminum
look, they seal fine, but YOU SHOULD KNOW... the lids have cut outs that makes you rip the whole thing off. I had to rebuy different ones. See picture, when you rip off plastic part, it's cut so that it takes the whole aluminum part off. Maybe it's for some other reason but for my uses it becomes unsanitary to use.

Jars don't actually seal. The caps don't fit on them tightly. Only good for stationary storage
