I purchased this desk for my 6 year old daughter. I was looking for a good quality desk, but I wasn't open in spending a great deal of money because of her age. This desk is a great size for her now and allows room to grow. She has plenty of desk space and storage. I was hesitate about buying a desk without seeing it in person and being able to see how sturdy it was. I can say the quality of the desk is more than I hoped for the price. It is not solid wood, yet the desk holds up nicely and it durable. It took me about 30mins to build. The color is pretty and matched up well to the other white furniture in the room even though those pieces were of a different brand. I would highly recommend this desk.

I rated this at 5 stars because of the quality to price ratio. I typically don't like the this "pressed wood" type of furniture, but this was perfect for the application I needed it to fill and at this price point, you won't likely find better quality.. I received the desk very quickly, (thank you Amazon Prime), and the packaging was superb. I have read other reviews about these heavy furniture items being damaged in transit, but the way this item was packaged, with heavy cardboard around all of the outside edges, a shipper would almost have to be purposely trying to damage it in order to cause any harm. All of the components were in perfect condition and each piece was clearly labeled. All of the attaching hardware was bagged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow, with accurate illustrations. Sorry if this review sounds too good to be true, but this was my honest experience and opinion in this case. Thank you, Sauder for an excellent value!

This is a nice looking desk. It is sturdy and fairly simple to put together. It took about and hour to assemble by myself. It is a nice desk for the price, think IKEA. It's made of particle board with a paper thin veneer, so don't count on passing it down to your grandchildren. The fit and finish is pretty good but there was a silver dollar size stain on the top of the desk. it looks like some type of liquid dropped on it. I will need to paint over it. My daughter loves it and the lower bin is great for stowing random things for a quick room clean-up.

I purchased two of these for my girls and with the help of my children we assembled them in just a few hours (single mom). The assembly was a breeze but got ahead of myself and inserted the little screw things the wrong way and had to redo it all on one of the desks (happened to be the second one because I thought I knew what I was doing lol). The desks are of good quality for what they are (not real wood) and I would definitely purchase again. However, I do wish there was a bit more storage for the girls. I purchased a set of very cute pink chairs to go along with them which I love as well  New Pink PU Leather Mid-Back Mesh Task Chair Office Desk Task Chair H20 .

Good for the money. It isn't perfect aesthetically, but it functions great for what we need. Tall enough I can sit at at , I'm 5'7, and short enough my 5 year old sits comfortably too. I wanted to buy something we can keep for a decent amount of time. Quality is pretty good. Some pieces are wood. Most are particle board. All sturdy and easy to assemble.

I had high hopes for this adorable desk, however - one of the panels didn't line up and I was left with a half done dangerous mess. Amazon was nice enough to replace it for me, however this time the panel was fine but the drawer wouldn't fit no matter how many combinations we tried. It's way too high for it to close. The holes for the inside bars were just too close to the top of the desk. Not to mention that the 2nd desk is so fail when we move next year we won't be able to take it with us. The top completely separates from the body, leaving the body unstable. Never had such an issue with a desk/cabinet/entertainment centre/bed, etc in my life. Can you tell I'm pissed? :)

Straight forward assembly. Easy to follow instructions. Would prefer not having a few wooden dowels to be glued since there is now a small gap where one whole was not deep enough. The drawer was irritating to line up and level. Overall, great looking, sturdy desk. Well worth my time and money.

We have a tall 5 year old granddaughter and had difficulty finding a desk that would fit her for a few years. All others were either very short or more for an adult. This desk is the perfect size. Desk is sturdy and easy to put together. The large storage bid keeps the desk from being pulled over or tipping. Important when you have toddler little sister.

Really good price vs quality ratio. This desk fits well into smaller spaces and is sturdy, functional and nice.

Really nice American Made desk for kids, everything fits really well and looks great when assembled. The girls love it!

this is a great desk - I would say appropriate for ages 5-12. It was easy to put together - I did not require my husbands help. The storage cubby is great and deep to hide things, overall a good product.
