Jefferies Socks Big Boys' Seamless-Toe Quarter Athletic Socks (Pack of 6)

These socks have been a lifesaver for our family. :) This is the second time I've ordered them for my clothing-sensitive daughter. (They are quite durable, we just lose socks sometimes or I haven't done the laundry fast enough, so we bought more to fill in.) They are thick and very soft on the inside. I like that the ankle is high enough to not slide down in her boots, but they're also not too tall, to "feel weird" to her either. The toe seam doesn't stick out like they do on a regular pair of socks, all the way across the toes. It's more like an absence of fluffiness, if that makes sense, so there's nothing to rub (see picture). There was a small string still at the pinky toe area inside of each sock (see picture), but I trimmed those off and she has been thrilled with them ever since. I was unsure about the cost of these before buying, but they are the only socks she wears and they are quite durable so they are well worth the money!! She even forgets to take them off sometimes, and has run around outside in them to play. They might get dirty, but I've washed them many times and there are no holes yet to be seen. Great socks for my sensitive kid!

These are the best socks - we've bought them in 2-3 sizes as our kids have grown. Because they're all the same, I don't have to match them or fold them, which is lovely - we keep them all in a drawer by the kids' shoe bins in our drop zone. Stretchy enough to accommodate different-sized feet (within reason), and thick and comfortable in a wide variety of shoes. I've never noticed them shrinking in the wash. The gray bottoms don't show dirt and wear as much as white would. We have these on Subscribe & Save so we can cycle out the old ones when the kids have finally worn the heels thin.

These are the best socks. They stay nice and snug, have comfy cushioned bottoms, and are thick without being too hot. No toe seams to rub in your shoe is the best. My sock hating child has accepted these so we will keep buying them.

I love these socks for my active 6-year-old son. BUT: for the short socks, order a size LARGER than you expect your child to wear. My son wears size 13 shoes, and the short socks are too small. They're also much smaller than the "small" size of the long Jefferies socks. Here's the breakdown: We have two sets of these socks. First order was for the gray/white LONG socks. I got SMALL, and they are the perfect size. They'll fit him for another year, at least. Plus, they're thick and very well made, so I actually think they'll last without holes (all of my son's other socks have holes by a few months after purchase -- so far, these have NO holes after five months). The second order I placed was for the gray/white SHORT socks in size small (supposedly the same size as the first set). The foot space is tiny. I'll post a picture showing that the foot-space is 1 inch shorter in the socks with the short cuff than it is in the socks with the long cuff. Nonetheless, the socks are thick, and equally well made as the first set. I'll send them back for the mediums.

My 11 year old loves these socks. They are a little thicker than others I've bought him (like Fruit of the Loom), and he enjoys the extra cushion. I'm thinking of getting some for myself! Only drawback is that the heels wear out faster than other brands. So while the rest of the sock has held up great, a small spot on the pad of his heel gets threadbare and uncomfortable. But maybe my son just walks oddly?? I'll be ordering some for my younger son to see if the same thing happens and will let you know!

These socks are great for my sensory child. He doesn’t like most other socks where the seams can be uncomfortable around the toes. These are soft, fit snug but comfortable, and last with a rough and tumble kid. These are the only socks we buy now!

I was happy to find these, and happy to pay a little extra, for what looked to be of better quality and higher cotton content than others I’ve seen. I’m impressed with how soft and cushioned they are, and would love them in my own size! As we were getting ready to leave the house, the first day my 7yr old son put them on to wear, he ran to my room and yelled, “Thank you for my socks! I love them!” Wow! Needless to say, I’m pleased! I can’t speak to their longevity yet, but I have no doubt they’ll last longer than thin/cheap socks that quickly get holes. I ordered the medium for my 7yr old and they fit perfectly.

I have five kids ranging in age from 2 to 8. Tired of matching dozens of different socks all the time, I decided to go all in on one kind of sock and end the matching madness. This was the sock I chose. I don't know how many dozens of pairs I've bought at this point, but I can say they've all been of very high quality. The gray bottoms are perfect for little kids who are constantly dirtying the bottoms of their socks. The bottom of these socks are fairly thick and provide good cushion. (The gray bottom also acts as a nice visual cue for toddlers that are trying to put their socks on the right way.) The elastic top is easily the best quality I've seen in a children's sock. All of my kids have been happy with these socks in everything from gym shoes to snow boots. They've taken a ton of abuse and hold up exceptionally well. With five kids we've really put these through the ringer and it's amazing how well they've lasted. They've been more likely to get lost or soiled beyond repair long before they've stretched out or gone thread bare. Great sock. Comfortable. Durable. It's the only children's sock I buy now.
