Great headlights, unbelievable price. One little design mistake.
I installed these Led headlights in my 1985 Mazda RX-7 in place of the original H4 7" sealed beams. What a difference they make! Especially because the first gen RX-7 had no headlight relay, so all the current going to the headlights goes through the switch in the cabin. Led's use so many fewer amps, the resistance in this circuit is essentially negligible. People usually need to buy an aftermarket headlight relay to get their headlights bright enough.I was going to buy a halogen bulb conversion, since sealed beam headlights just don't work well by modern standards. Most other Led 7" conversions would either give my car segmented insect eyes or would be twice the price of a DOT approved halogen conversion kit. This product cost exactly the same as a halogen conversion kit and it has DOT labeling under the glass. And I don't need to buy an aftermarket headlight relay now.The only reason this is not a 5-star review is a design flaw. Being a sealed beam design, you cannot aim the Hi and Lo beams independently. (that's the same with any sealed beam headlight). But with this headlight, the Hi and lo beams are pointing at the same angle. Yes, the Hi beams are brighter, but hi beams are supposed to be aimed higher than the lo beam. In some cars the hi and lo beams are the same brightness and the lo beams turn off when the Hi beams are on. The Volvo S60 used to not even have a Hi beam bulb, it just used a little motor to angle the headlights up when you went into Hi beam. It's not supposed to be about brightness, it's supposed to be about angle. If you aim your headlights to see the most of the road ahead, they are angled to shine in oncoming drivers' eyes. That's why you have lo beams angled a bit down, so when there is oncoming traffic on an unlit road you don't blind people. With these headlights, you have to aim them lower than ideal, and the hi beams don't aim where they should. Compared to my old sealed beams, though, it's definitely worth it.Update: after further use I have determined the high beams are aimed slightly higher than the low beams, so I have to remove the strike against it. Also, I left my headlights on by accident for about 5 hours, I didn't have the slightest bit of trouble starting my 32 year old car. I have had to aim the headlights to the lowest adjustment position on my car. But definitely worth it. I am upgrading the review to 5 stars considering the value.

Bright and durable!
Have these installed in a 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Perfect fit, definitely plug and play. The mounting bezels are a tight fit compared to the stock halogen fitment but still work, make sure you line them up correctly. I added LaminX protection film since I do take my Jeep out on trails and also drive freeway and didn't want the polycarbonate to get scratched up. These ARE waterproof, I drove into water that got a bit too deep and submerged these halfway, still work great and just as bright as ever.My only downside(which may not matter to you) is I used to have the RuggedRidge euro light guards but they will NOT fit over these. Stock halogens have a rounder curve and these ones kind of have a hard edge to them. I've read that the Barricade guards should fit.Overall very pleased with how these look and perform for the cost, will see how long they last.

C+, good but could be better
Decent light for the price, install was a cinch - though the factory instructions were useless - just look at previous reviews for all you need. Don't bother to purchase without a flicker harness and even then... still flickers a bit. I have also noticed the lenses scratch VERY easy - even with a lint-free cloth it left scratches when wiped odd right out of the box, very surprising (noticeable visible scratches). Over time these scratches which will inevitably happen will reduce the light diffusion characteristics. I recommend you always clean with soap and water and never wipe them dry. Likely they will require some type of yearly or bi-yearly maintenance. Appearances are very good and look modern but not overstated. I installed them on an '84 CJ7 that is a trail rig and the light output is better than anything else in the price range. If you can stand the occasional flickering they're still a good buy... 3/5 - Good but has room for improvement.

Excellent deal, half the price of Truck-Lite's
Excellent deal, half the price of Truck-Lite's. Easy install. Most important thing when converting to these lights is to do a proper aiming job. There are many good guides you can find with Google, the Daniel Stern Lighting guide (google it!) is good. Before I aimed mine properly, I got the "X" pattern you'll hear people complain about, it's because the light is aimed too low. Once properly aimed, the pattern was excellent on the low beam and had great throw on the high beam. High quality, indistinguishable from more expensive similar LED's. Lights shown in the pics below, the fog lights are TTX Lighting 4" 27W LED's, only $14 a pair here on Amazon! Look 'em up.

Plug & Play: 1979 Kawasaki KZ650 Motorcycle
To my surprise this was an easy installation for a 1979 Kawasaki KZ650 motorcycle. I was surprised because the original hardware matched up perfectly with this headlight. No modification was needed. The only difference is that the front of the headlight sticks out but 1/4 inch. Honestly not that noticeable. As far as performance I've only tested it as dusk. It much brighter for sure but won't be able to compare until it pitch black outside. I bought this headlight because if it's 35W draw. It should worked well with the vintage charging system unless the draw is actually more than what was advertised. The only con is that I noticed that the plastic lens scratches easily. I used a soft T-shirt and it appeared to make a few tiny tiny marks.

Great Drop-in Replacement
Drop in replacement for my '88 Porsche 924S. Had to adjust the height all the way down and might still shim it. But the light temperature is great with a decent cutoff and a wonderful high beam. I was going to do a tear-down but the lens is sealed on with glue instead of screws and o-rings. Speaking of which, the lens seems very sturdy without any flex. Sure to survive a few rock strikes. No idea about durability or lifespan but at first blush, this is an excellent replacement to an old sealed-beam headlight. As an added bonus, the lights have a parking light mode as shown in the picture.

Great upgrade for Jeep TJ
These were pulg and play on a 98 Jeep Wrangler TJ Sport, very nice and bright, DOT certified (which will come in handy because these are brighter than halogen x2, you need to aim...

Loved it. Was told at HD dealer that these are junk and would only last a year. They are full of it as theirs are only ten times the cost.

turning on headlights is like an ECM jammer for the CB radio
Much brighter than stock Jeep headlight... but not focused forward, wide beam pattern causing issues with oncoming traffic. Electrically, they are very noisy...

A bargain
So far I like these a lot. They look similar to another named brand that is 3 or 4x the cost. I have been using this for a couple of months now and they work great.
