This is so nice. So easy to put up
This is so nice. So easy to put up. My ceilings are nearly 9 ft—I was afraid that it wouldn't work, but it did. I used to have two Ikea Algot clothes racks, and they were so ugly. This is much better, and more efficient use of my space. The wood grain is actually convincing! I thing I would've preferred an all-white set, though, to make it blend in with my wall.Note:The curtains only wrap around the front and half of the sides. The second half of the sides beyond the pole do not get covered. Also, the curtains are ugly. I think they're about 84" long, so not long enough for my nearly 9ft ceiling. Also, it's not quite wide enough. They just cover the front, for the most part, leaving the sides exposed. They're butt-ugly for a casual adult room. They've got gold threads running through it—a little gaudy for my taste. Would've preferred a linen texture or light gray stripe. I'm going to get 96" curtains, and will just lower the curtain brackets below my top clothes rod. It'll still cover the bar from site, because I'm looking up at it. Would've preferred 108" curtains (specifically need 101") but those are harder to find.I do wish that the curtain brackets extended just a couple inches further. Some of the arms of my clothes poke out and leave lumps in the middle of my curtains.LOVE the "free gift" that actually allows you to pull clothes off the top rack! I use it to draw my curtains, too! Just great, though the ends kind of pop off sometimes. If you're wondering if these are a good purchase, trust me—they are. Not a single hole in my walls, which is great as a renter. Also, I was able to put them up by myself. It would be better if you had a second person, to make sure that you guys are really extending the poles in both directions to really lock it into place. Kind of a tough exercise for someone with tiny weak muscles, like me. But I did it!You don't really need a level, as some people are suggesting. As long as your floors and ceilings are mostly even, you just need a tape measure. Use the tape measure to place your rubber rings ahead of time. Then you'll be golden. You'll also need a tape measure to make sure you're the proper distance from the wall on both poles. I just chose 12"

Great Product!
They sent me the wrong item but was very eager to correct their mistake. As a courtesy they actually let me keep the wrong item and just sent me the one I ordered. I love the product! It is high quality and easy to put together. The best solution for lofts or apts with very little closet space. The curtain is a little grandma-ish but that's no big thing because I am just gonna swap it for a sexier one from target. They would have gotten a perfect score if it wasn't for the mix up in shipment.

Best purchase I’ve made in a while...
Honestly I have no idea why people wrote negative reviews on this item. It has completely changed my living space. I actually have room to hang my clothes and can finally pick up my clothes from the dry cleaner. Now all my jackets are not piled on the back of my door. I had been eyeing this and not going to lie , I was weary about buying it from the negative reviews. Glad I finally pulled the trigger during quarantine. I was able to put this together without my handyman and with no tools (only what was provided) Just a step stool. The two poles are tension poles I have no clue what the person is talking about when they says it isn’t..you slide it up to the ceiling and then lock it in place. It is sturdy, as you can see from the picture I have a lot on there. The curtain that it came with isn’t terrible but depending on how wide you make it (the unit is also retractable length wise) the curtain will not cover the whole thing. The curtain also didn’t match which I had already known when purchasing that I would order two extra long shower curtains. It looks good too at least the way I set mine up, I get compliments. If you are like me and live in a 400 square feet studio, don’t have a closet And sick of waiting around for and paying your handyman, don’t hesitate just buy it. Highly recommended.

Not worth the hassle; nice idea/poor execution
I read the reviews for the Prince Hanger range of products. I noticed that there were quite a few that had only one review for this item. Suspicious, but I thought this was cheap enough that it was worth a gamble. The unit is not stable, even on hardwood and yes, I did use a level. I would have been better off ordering a Seville closet system or some such, but I wanted the curtain. Bad idea.In addition to not functioning as expected, my unit shipped FedEx and required an IN PERSON signature. I couldn't even just sign the door tag and leave it. The package had to be signed for in the presence of the delivery man. Unless you have a doorman or are home all day, this will be a hassle. I had to have the box held a local FedEx store for pick up on a weekend. It was a major hassle for an inexpensive item. Also, please note that this unit fits an 8' ceiling, no higher.I would return it except that the shipping round trip would equal half the cost of this unit. Hoping it lasts out the academic year.

Perfect for renters
I am so pleased with my purchase. I needed more closet space in my bedroom. I originally wanted a wardrobe from IKEA but it's been sold out. This peice is very functional. Looks highend with the curtain (in my opinion). I purchased a different curtain that fit more with my decor(should've gotten them longer to hang ceiling to floor). It was easy to put together. I did need my boyfriend's help a bit due to the height of the closet. I'm short and he's tall.

Okay
One of the sets I purchased was missing several pieces and was damaged. The other one had all the parts, but I've still had issues with it. It's not the most sturdy. I would recommend installing a rod into the wall yourself if you can... But if you aren't allowed to screw into the wall then this system is likely your best bet.

Easy Assembly
I would recommend this product to a friend. It looks classy, works well and was very easy to assemble. Lastly, the price was right.
