We have been looking for a modern style sconce for our hallway. One key requirement was that it does not stick out too far (i.e. low profile yet slick design). We went through several different models (including Amazon's best seller). This model just blew past all of them. It ticked all the right boxes: warm light LED + black metal body + modern design + nice soft glow yet functional. Between two different sizes, we got the larger one because we wanted more visual impact. As for the orientation, we settled on a vertical installation to accentuate the simple yet elegant design. You can easily install it horizontally by rotating the metal plate. We love the multi-level design that gives this light more visual depth and dimensionality. It came with everything you need to install it, including a universal metal plate and plastic caps. It also came with a grounding wire for additional safety. Installation was pretty easy. The only tricky part was getting those small screws into the metal casing and tightening them. Much easier if you have another person holding the light while you put in and tighten those screws. Overall, we are very happy with this light. Great quality, fantastic design, and nice glow. Highly recommended.

Love the look of this light at the top of my stairs. I also like the forcibly in its design where you can vertical or horizontal.One concern I have involves it not being grounded. Unsure if anyone else noticed the light doesn’t have a ground.Maybe an actual electrician can chime in and let us know how dire that is.

This was such a cool style. Easy to install. The colors is great.

I like the design, its very bright just think is a bit over price.

Very high quality

This item is cool, minimalist, and looks great on the wall. Problem is that it blew up. It was not working (after installed two months ago), so I had my electrician inspect. He showed me where it blew (see photo) and the black on the inside of the walls. Needed much more repair work than the look is worth. And we could have died!!!When I called, the nice man from another country gave me a credit. When I suggested he elevate this to whatever department ensures others do not have the same issue, as to remove it from Amazon. The advisor said they had no system in place. I asked, "is the only way to see if others have this problem to write a review?". He replied, "correct sir". And here I am. Have a nice day?

You will enjoy this light! Easy to install, gives a soft yet beautiful look.

This light is just as pretty as we hoped and well constructed. However, the LEDs are mostly blocked by the positioning of the electrical box and thus the actual light output is quite low. We want white, and are hoping the larger size comes in white some day and that the box then does not block the light. Unfortunately, it is going back.

plaques aluminium légèrement granuleuse de belle qualité. ça éclaire autant qu'un halogene de 80w en lumière indirecte et largement assez par le bas pour lire sans être trop agressif. boîtier de fixation de 12,5 cm sur 11cm. photo de la patte de fixation jointe. attention elle n'est pas centrée (à 15 cm au lieu de 13 cm) pour une largeur de 26, mais ça peut être intéressant pour décaler si votre conduite arrive verticalement au centre du lieu de fixation. la photo donne l'impression d'être retouchée avec un éclairage accentué mais ce n'est pas le cas.. l'applique est blanche mais elle éclaire tellement que les plaques alu blanches semblent noires.beau design. je recommande.

I really like the look of the light, it is very modern.Also the construction is massive metal, not some cheap plastic.The light has a warm white tone at around 3000K and the LED is nicely diffused. Also it is quite bright, depending on the wall colour.I would recommend it for bedroom or wall decoration in hallways, living rooms, etc.An excellent product, certainly worth the money.
