It works, but might hurt you.
5/5 because it's a good quality cable and it works for quest 2. Although, I recommend looking for a cable that doesn't have that small brick half way through. Stepping on that while in VR is like stepping on a Lego.

It works and is lightweight for Quest 2
I ordered a Anker cable before this one that was super heavy and not at all what I want to have pulling at my head. I did not own the quest 1.0 but on the Quest 2 it works GREAT. Tested via the Oculus app, I am getting 2.9gbps using my motherboards 3.0 onboard blue ports. Using the onboard red ports I get 1.6gbps, and 2.2gbps using my expansion USB card ports. My score of 2.9gbps is HIGHER than my buddies who have OFFICIAL Oculus fiber optic cables that cost 4x what this one does. Will this have the potential of the official one? Who knows, but I do know it works faster RIGHT NOW which is what matters to me. Hopefully it will hold up to use.

Finally! A working cable for Oculus Link!
I've been through several cables, adapters, and even add-on pcie cards trying to get the Oculus Link to work on my Quest 2. The original link cable was sold out everywhere, and you could only get them on ebay from scalpers (shame on you people). Always they failed and worked in USB2 mode. Even the adapters that the Oculus reddit claimed to work did not work. Even some of the cables that claimed to be "oculus link" cables failed, and several didn't even fit right on the device! So, seeing the diagram, and that it had fiber optic lines like the original cable, I gave this one a try. And it worked great on my built-in USB ports! And it fits great, and snaps in like it should! I'm very impressed! It gets 2.2GB in the oculus connection test, which is more than enough for a smooth experience. A+

It works even with the minimum requirements PC!
I have a Dell Inspiron 7577 core i5 GTX 1060 6GB. The games I have played with this cable without issues with Quest 2 are:From Steam:CreedBeat SaberBoneworksPistol WhipRaw DataZero CaliberI Expect You to DieKilling FloorI have yet to play the Walking Dead Saints and Sinners on Steam and Asgard Wrath on Oculus. I will update after playing them.Steam has a problem of disconnecting but this does not happen during gameplay rather when switching games and it does not happen all the time. I am not sure if it's the cable or my PC because it is the minimum requirements. The cable is long enough and sturdy enough and it doesn't interfere with gaming in anyway. I am glad I didn't purchase the official cable because I bought this to see because I was not sure my laptop could handle VR so no need to take risk with higher priced cable. It works wonderfully and I will be keeping it. Five stars.

Works, speed is good, charges, but some issues.
I got this cord yesterday and have used it for a little bit. I got it with a small hole in the sheathing of the cable, and had to put electrical tape over it. I also realized today that the USB-C connector itself is a bit loose and I am afraid it may snap off inside my quest 2. So far though, it's fine. The speeds are anywhere from 860mbps to 1.6gbps. Works fine for charging through the PC as well, but I'm not so sure about using it with a wall charger, as it gets sort of warm when charging on pc, and I believe it could get too hot if used with a wall charger. I dont know if I could recommend it, but it isn't broken and works as advertised so I guess it's up to you if you wanna get this.

Does the job
I got this a few months ago and have been trying it out ever since. It works perfectly with the Oculus Quest 2 in tandem with the Oculus link on my PC. Never had a dropped connection and the ire has proved itself to be very sturdy. The only complaint that I have s that it doesn't charge the Oculus very well. It will keep the charge consistent with the power you plugged it into but it won't go any further.

Doesn't charge effectively.
I bought this for my Oculus Quest 2 based on the Amazon recommendations, since I would want to be able to play for extended periods and can't expect to keep my head a few feet from a power outlet or computer. However, I found that the power level of the headset slowly but continuously dropped while in use. It also did not seem to charge effectively overnight. Even plugged in to charge and with the headset powered off overnight (at least 12 hours), it didn't manage to fully charge the headset. The cord provided with the headset fully charged the headset from the same level in just a couple of hours.

Doesn't work.. look elsewhere.
It won't pick up my quest, quest 2, or anything else that transfers data. I tried every usb port on my computer, including the one my rift s is currently hooked up to.I even tried plugging it into my phone and a external harddrive, and all it did was power it up. Neither of the drives popped up in windows, but it showed as charging or just getting power. I either received a dud, or this cable won't transfer data.Avoid this cable.

Finally a good cable!
I've tried a few cables for the Quest 2 (including the official one, which I couldn't get to work at all...) and have struggled to find a satisfactory one. This is the best I've tried. It looks and feels like the official one - lightweight and narrower than others. Makes me think it might be fibre optic, like the official one (though probably not, because it might not need the booster if it was. But what do I know...I'm not an electrical engineer.)What I can tell you is that, using this cable plugged into my motherboard's rear USB 3 port, I get 3 Gbps on the Oculus link connection test. That's the best I've seen anywhere! Gives a smooth, stable connection and I can finally settle down and focus on enjoying some games.I may be gone some time...

VR connecting cable.
High quality long usb type c cable for the occulus quest 2. This is an aftermarket cable for connecting the headset to a pc for vr gaming on pc. The official cable is a fiber optic and costs £80. This is a copper cable but has built in booster to allow high bandwidth over the long cable. Works a treat and is a third of the price of the official cable.

Does not run at USB 3 speed
It works as a data transfer and power cable. But not at the advertised USB 3 speeds. Rather disappointed.
