It's a nice windmill, and at this price, it's even great. It arrived, practically, in good condition. Of course, it required a lot of refinements, glue, and painting, but the result is worth the effort.

I like it. Read reviews said it dousn't spin, yes it will, put flat washers on each side of wind fan on shaft. Put a little dab of silicone, to keep nut from backing off. Do not use locktite or superglue, nut is only pressed into knob which is only made of wood. Incase you need to remove later. Only tighten enough where fan spins freely.2nd. It will last alot longer if you coat it with a water resistent. Inside and out. If used outside. DO NOT place directly on ground, will rot out wood. Roof will allow rain in, need to cut to out little V's at base, for water to escape... Hope this helps.

One wing was off but nailed back on

First the shipping was super fast. It arrived in a box that was just as big as the product . This is a very cheaply made and my advice is DO Not pull the windmill out of the box or it will fall apart, another words cut the box, trust me on this. Now when I opened the box there was a couple pieces that fell off already. Everything is held on by staples. I had to lightly hammer the pieces that fell off. Honestly I don't expect this thing to make it outside through the year. I'll prolly use some small tack nails to better secure it. It is very light in color. If I was good at painting I'd paint it white and red. I am however gonna stain it a little darker. There is a made in China sticker on it. You do have to put the blades on it and they do freely turn. It's not bad just cheaply assembled. The wife loves it so that's all that matters.

This purchase was for my dad as a decorative piece for his front yard. When it arrived I didn’t know what to expect when I open that box but when I took it out, I realized it was a great value. It’s built very sturdy with strong thick wood. It comes unpainted which made it a great project for my father and I and fun to do. I highly recommend purchasing this product you won’t be disappointed

The price was good compared to other hand made of the same costing hundreds of dollars. The bolt to hold the wind vanes had a nut that didn't fit the threads. Had to buy a replacement locally. Will probably paint it to protect it more from the weather. One of the roof pieces was off in the box and I had to hammer it back in place. I'm planning on replacing the roof to be more solid so rain cannot get inside it. It is a nice design it just needs some TLC. Probably would be good in pieces as a kit for less cost and buyer could assemble it.
