I was looking for a cover for the couch when my old one disintegrated (it was 30 years old after all) I wanted a woven cotton one & I wanted it in shades of green, purple, & orange. The colors in the lead picture are NOT the same as the colors you get. The colors in the close up pic with the fabric twisted are correct. Those were the colors I wanted. I read the reviews & they said it was darker & I hoped that they were correct. They were! The colors are deeper & darker than the ones in most of the pics. I would not call it "lightweight". It is a nice thick cotton throw. Like the ones that were super popular in the 90's. I also washed mine in hot water & dried it in the dryer on hot right off the bat. It washes VERY well. The colors don't run. The weave is loose until you wash it & it shrinks. So it will pull MUCH worse if you don't wash it & it has a factory smell. So WASHING solves both those problems. I knew that form my old one. I got the larger size &, after it was washed, the weave was tighter &, of course, it was smaller which I totally expected. Now it is about 6'x7'. I am really glad I got the bigger one because the smaller one would have been way too small after washing to cover my big purple velvet couch. It covers the back & seats of my 9' couch with just enough to tuck in & just enough to hang over the back so it doesn't fall off the back & down onto the seat. I would not say it is "soft" (like the synthetic fluffy ones you get) it is soft just like cotton should be. I LOVE it. BUT if you go by what they say in the description and expect a lightweight fluffy synthetic throw in light colors you might be disappointed. Well worth it for me & I am very very happy!

Love the texture and feel of it! It's a nice throw blanket, good decor and not super warm, so it's nice for a summer/early autumn breeze or chilly night. Pretty soft.Cut off a star just because the colors are more saturated and purple than expected!

I bought this blanket because I really liked the design. I’m happy to say it looks great in person and it’s really nice quality. I got the largest size to throw over my bed and I think it looks fantastic, exactly what I was looking for. The only reason I would say not to buy this blanket is if you were expecting it to be truly double sided, everything is backwards/mirrored when you flip it over and considering it’s a world map with words on it that makes it pretty noticeable and not ideal. but I didn’t care about it being double-sided, because I just wanted the wheat color to throw over my bed so to me it still deserves five stars but I did notice they say it’s double-sided but you’re not going to want to display the other side.

My grandma who passed gave me a blanket similar to this when I was a child. Unfortunately I lost it when I moved away to college. Ever since I’ve been trying to find something that resembled it and this was it for me. Sleep with it every night. Very comfy, love the texture, good quality, it’s a bit heavy but I like it that way. No complaints.

The spelling on parts of the map are funky but the colors are earthy as depicted and I think it feels nice and holds up fairly well to dog claws. I love the way it feels but my husband hates it. We both have sensory issues but different ones I suppose

I liked the quality of the fabric, the design and most of all the generous size.I had it covering the back of a three cushions coutch. It certainly adds color to the room and does a great job protecting the couch, too.

I absolutely love this blanket. I keep it draped over the back of my chair when I’m not using it. I love woven blankets because they’re not too warm like a fleece blanket. They’re perfect for the spring and fall. If you run warm but like the comfort of a blanket like me I highly recommend!
