As others have described, it is thin…but it doesn’t need to be any thicker to do its job so I don’t see the issue.

I bought this to keep my puppy from scratching a door. It looks nice and does the job, but the edges are sharp. I ran caulking around the edge to keep my dog from scraping his paw.

Great item that was easy to install.
I am so happy I ordered this item to cover the area on my front door that the dogs paw and paw to get inside. I was worried they might find a different area to paw paw on, but they didn't and it's even better now that I can hear them paw paw now and it is easier for me to know when they want to come inside.

Thin and flimsy but usable. It was quite a chore to remove some adhesive on the face.

Great quality product for the price. Easy to install and clean. Obviously you can paint it to match your doors if you like. My only con was that one plate was slightly curved. Slightly. Flattend up after install. Otherwise I am very pleased.
