New Replacement Keyboard for HP Zbook 15 G3 G4 Zbook 17 G3 G4 Backlit Pointer US 848311-001 PK131C31A00

Not the exact keyboard that comes standard on the laptop. It has a slightly different key layout. I purchased this after some of the keys on the original laptop keyboard broke. When installing it, I was never able to get it to fit perfectly. This is likely a reflection of my skills rather than the product. Once installed the board was ever so slightly warped (you wouldn’t notice unless you looked down at it for a while when typing). For what I needed at the time, it worked well.

Got the correct keyboard and it works great. Delivered sooner than expected. 2 thumbs up. Happy customer : )

I carefully examined the keyboard and realized there were only two ribbon style connectors supplied with this keyboard, yet the 3rd ribbon which supplies the main power from the system board to the new keyboard was not attached the new keyboard. Luckily I realized this prior to wasting a lot of time putting my system together. There were no instructions, so a non techie may have a difficult time with this keyboard. The good news is the keyboard works very well with the same feel as the old keyboard. I would have given this 5 stars, but due to missing the 3rd ribbon and instructions, it lost 2 stars.

Out of the package the PS ribbon cable was missing. Not a big deal for me as I rarely use the keyboard pointer. I see that this was mentioned in a previous review. Regardless, the rest of the keyboard works well.

It works well enough. However the threads for the board screws are not the same size as the OEM.
