VTechMobiGo Software - Game Storage Cartridge

After doing a lot of research, I decided the Mobigo was the right pick for our three year old boy. So far, it is a hit. The storage device is a must have item. Once you set up your play system account you can buy games for download. The Mobigo itself was only able to hold two games. Since there are pages of games to buy, all at different age or development levels, you have to have a way to store them. Yes, the storage system is very pricey when you look at the cost of the system as a whole. However, if you break it down by cost per game, it is very reasonable. I bought eight games, spent fifteen dollars on them, stored them for play on the cartrige and the cartrige is only a third of the way full. For me, it is very worth it. The Mobigo is already the least expensive of the competitors, I think it may be due to the fact that they know you will need to pay for this storage card. Recommend.

This MobiGo game software cartridge is a good idea and all but the games are a little too baby-like. I could see a 3 or 4 year old loving this and learning(cool) but for a 5-8 year old they would just ask for an ipad or ipod. Good for the little ones ;)

I know is not Amazon's fault but the same Item is sold at the manufacturer web site for half the price...

Just what we were looking for at a great price. My son recently rediscovered his Mobigo and wanted more games. The cartridge came with a code for 3 free games. The directions were straightforward. We were up and running within a matter of minutes. The most time consuming part was deciding which games to choose. I'm glad we didn't by the cartridge a few years back when we bought the Mobigo. It was nearly $20 back then.

I am sure the game storage cartridge is good but all the talk (in the description and reviews) about a 100 free downloadable games is so not true. You have to pay a minimum of $3 per downloadable game to put anything on this cartridge. I did get 3 free ones with the cartridge (hence the two stars this review gets) but that's not even close to a 100, is it? Amazon should fix the description to reflect the truth.

This game storage cartridge is NOT compatible with the Mobigo 2. It is only compatible with the original Mobigo system. Please make sure that you are careful.

My daughter has a mobigo, and several games. I ordered this so she could download more. We have a brand new computer, so that's not the problem, but I spent days trying to find games to put on this cartridge.....no luck!

My 5 years old has one and my 2 year old has one. They love their Mobigos and being able to store 38+ educational games is brilliant!

Expennsive for the size of storage but since you have no alternative it does the job pity you have to have one though
