As expected

I shouldn't have bought so many lol. Now I have a pile of these, but the one I need works just fine. I've had it outside in summer and winter inside of a beehive. So can't say much better than that.

buy these for something that doesnt need a reliable connection. the plastic melts at a low temperature so use caution when soldering wires to the leads. they are fine for putting a few cells in series for a quick project, but they didnt fit my application that requires something a little more sturdy. there is no option for running the cells in parallel if thats what your application requires. I would spend the extra money to buy tougher case and solder pads.

The leads are a bit thin, especially considering the 4 pack but they work as described. They are thin plastic but feel like they will hold up for the DIY or hobbyist. I would purchase more of these if I ever needed them.

I was a bit skeptical based on the price, however the plastic is of high grade, sturdy leads to handle the voltage and amperage you put through. Works as advertised and houses the 18650 lithium batteries tightly which is another plus.

Great for addng power to projects

Happy with these. Do recommend taping over exposed contacts on ends of battery trays.

I'll mention up front that I wired a couple of these battery holders together in series to obtain the desired voltage for my application. Given that, what happened to me may not happen if you're only using one 2-battery case. But here it is: when I used them in series, the insulation on the wires melted! ...AND once that happened, my by then un-insulated positive wire shorted out when it came in contact with the by then naked/un-insulated negative wire. The wires on these battery holders are not big enough to carry any significant electric load. I then spent all morning doing a workaround, removing those cheap light gage wires and replacing them with a thicker gage of wire. Doing so was no walk in the park.

The batteries fit snuggly in the holders. However, it is a challenge to take them out. The wire terminals are very cheap. They don't solder easily and break with just few bends.

Nothing much can go wrong with a battery holder. The only thing I dislike is the terminals are not great for soldering. I attached a battery management module to the 4 pack to charge 2x2S battery pack. To make the middle connection took some ingenuity. Given these are for 18650 which are lithium-ion, they should work better with a BMS.Other than that, good value for money. They hold the batteries very firmly.
