DataTraveler Exodia DTX/64GB Flash Drive USB 3.2 Gen 1 - with Protective Cap and Keyring in Multiple Colours

Picked up the Kingston DataTraveler Exodia 64GB as a backup drive for transferring files between work and home, and it’s doing exactly what I need it to. Speeds are decent for a USB 3.2 Gen 1 – nothing mind-blowing, but fast enough for documents, media files, and the occasional larger video project. Definitely better than older USB 2.0 drives. Build quality feels solid. It’s lightweight, but doesn’t feel cheap. I like that it comes with a protective cap (which actually stays on) and the keyring loop is a nice touch – makes it easy to attach to my bag or keys so I don’t lose it. I also got one in a different colour to easily tell it apart from my other drives. Simple idea, but super useful. No issues with compatibility so far – worked plug-and-play with Windows, Mac, and even a smart TV. Great little drive for the price if you just need dependable storage on the go.

Great value for money since it costs almost the same as 128GB versions there. Not the quickest, but definately has good transfer speeds so you wont get old waiting for the files to transfer.

Cheap and work, only thing i would say is they are slower then advertised.

These are excellent memory sticks at a decent price.

Very handy Flash drives for installing programs and making backups of your files. Kingston have never failed me.

256GB used to be a good sized hard drive - now available as this tiny device. I worried about some odd messages on a pc so backed up it's 100+GB's of files, pictures and downloads on this . It took about one hour in total but worked perfectly and I feel this provides an excellent extra back up very cheaply indeed.

Bought two, and they have identical, and truly terrible, write speeds. I was writing faster than these flash drives do (both sequentially and random writes, in fact) on ancient spinning HDDs back at the turn of the century. I'm going to have a chat with Kingston about this but either way it's really knocked my confidence in them - they've always been a really solid go-to and now, for me at least, that image is gone. (Just to mention, they're plugged into USB3.2 sockets on a 12900K CPU/64GB RAM/decent high-end mobo. So pretty sure it's not my hardware that's struggling to keep up.) -Williams.

Evet, kullanımda bir sıkıntı çıkmadı. Markayı, tecrübeli bir dostumun tavsiyesiyle seçtim.

Le due pen-drive si presentano solide, veloce, con cappucci ben saldi. Le velocità di lettura e scrittura non lasciano affatto a desiderare: per un backup completo (da circa 30GB) ci ha impiegato circa 10-13 minuti. Fin'ora, non presentano alcun tipo di difetto, ma con Kingston si può stare sicuri sulla qualità delle memorie. Consigliate, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

the USB speed is very slow. disappointing. 100mb/s going down to 40mb/s.
