I am usually skeptical with keyboard cases , I had them for the iPad in the past and was not impressed. But getting this case for the galaxy Tab S7 was brilliant. Smooth typing and perfect protective fit for the Tab, it also has a holder for the S pen inside the case which none of the others have. If your getting the Tab S7 add this to your order right away. It's a must have.

Let me start my review by saying that I own a Samsung OEM keyboard case for another tablet, so it is easy for me to compare the two. I think the Samsung case works very well, but is rather expensive for what you get. So I purchased this keyboard case as a (hopefully) better value.Review:The keyboard in this case is a bluetooth keyboard instead of the Samsung OEM direct connect keyboard. The keyboard is a little more lightweight than the Samsung, but the backlighting is a big plus, and the ability to use the keyboard at a slight distance from the tablet is nice. I wouldn't necessarily want to use it to type a novel, but as an alternative to using a touchscreen keyboard, it is a significant improvement.The keyboard is not physically connected to the case, but is held in place with strong magnets. This allows you slide the keyboard into different positions based on how you angle the tablet. However there are times when this arrangement can be a little awkward - like when you want to close the tablet at night and the keyboard is a little wonky and you have to spend a little extra time aligning everything so the case folds up just so. First world problems, I know, but compared to the Samsung which is a simple clamshell setup, it feels a little clunky.Finally the case is heavy and thick. It is an eye-opening experience to take your svelt, lean tablet and tuck it into the case, and triple the thickness while doubling (or more) the weight. I feel confident that the case protects my tablet, but I feel like I am now lugging around a laptop instead of a tablet. Even if you remove the keyboard from the case, you are left with a heavy, thick case that may leave you wondering whether you should buy a second lighter weight case for times when you don't want to travel with the keyboard.I still give it five stars for function and value... but just be prepared for the heft.

All the five-star reviews sold me on this keyboard for my Tab S7. After having it for a short time, I agree with the positive reviews. The look and feel are excellent. The keyboard functionality is excellent. Two storage options for the S Pen are also excellent. My only complaint (why I'm not giving it five stars) is that the Galaxy Tab S7 alone weighs a mere 1 lb. The case and keyboard literally triple the weight of an otherwise sleek, lightweight and stellar tablet. When I pulled the case/keyboard out of the box I was shocked at how heavy it was without the tablet being attached. What was light and uncumbersome (tablet only) is now like carrying around a small netbook computer in terms of weight. The keyboard is actually lightweight. It appears that the sturdy case, the built-in magnets, and the keyboard together are what make this nearly 2 lbs. without the tablet and 3 lbs with the tablet. The case offers great protection, great S Pen storage and great keyboard utility... but how I wish it was 1 lb lighter. I may decide later that the weight is a good thing as it may serve to make it more stable when using on my lap vs a desk or table. Still, a great case/keyboard, especially considering the price.

I am very impressed with this keyboard cover overall! The Bluetooth connection from the keyboard to my S7 tablet took like a minute (actually less) and the responsiveness of the keys is amazing! It almost feels like a mechanical keyboard! I love how I can adjust the color and dimmings. I have fairly large hands (6'0" and 240lbs) so the wrist space between the keyboard and the end of it feels like a custom fit to me! I like to have my hands not resting on the tables when I type and that build actually helps when I'm typing from my lap as well. The charge on the keyboard is awesome, so far I use my tablet daily (8 hours) and I type up drafts on MS Word and only charge the keyboard once every 3-4 days. The keyboard also charges very quickly too (maybe 45mins). The cover itself is sturdy, well built, the keyboard will NOT fall off with the strong magnets (I even tried to dangle it by holding the tablet and shaking the cover, keyboard stayed firmly where it was), adjustable viewing angles, and I like how it has a place to hold the S-pen in the front and the cover in the back makes sure it doesn't get lost when putting it in my backpack. I'm very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cover for the S7, best bang for your buck!
