Probably. I gave this to a granddaughter whose Mom knows nothing about sewing. She said her daughter loved the project. I purchased another one for a granddaughter and I helped her complete the project. Pretty easy, just have to follow written instructions.

No. This is for sewing by hand. My grand daughters did stay with the task.
