UPDATE: I did hear back from and email I sent to the manufacturer and upgraded my rating from 1 star. They called me on WhatsApp to troubleshoot the problems. Very friendly and helpful but awkward trying to troubleshoot with the time delay using WhatsApp. Apparently, they are "updating" their phone number and customer service. The instructions for adding additional users is not clear at all but the Youtube videos they sent were adequate and I was able to get it programed. Original post: I bought this lock in March and just now got around to installing it. Now the return period has expired - bad on me! Very easy to install but I keep getting error messages when I try to program the user code. The registration process for the product would not work, the phone is never answered and it says all "agents" are buy and disconnects you. I have tried several times and get the same result. Their "chat" feature does not work.

Its rusting already and it keeps malfunctioning.

The lock is ok for the money. A coupe of the issues you need to be aware before buying one:1. This lock WON'T work with rechargeable batteries: you'd have to install AA alkaline only2. The paper documentation and the description of the lock on Amazon have completely opposite description of what left-handed and right-handed door means. Only PAPER description is correct; the one on Amazon is BULLOCKS.Because of #2 above I can only give 3 points for the ease of installation: I had to take off the front panel like three times because of the people who can't put together a coherent English description of their own product.Other then that - it is ok, although having a way to enter bulk user codes would be nice and would safe one the need to punch in programming code every single time. After all, there's an option to delete all user codes at once, why not to have similar functionality for adding?

Lesson learned measure first. I really really wanted this door to work. Imagine, letting your kids in thru a code and not them losing a key somewhere. Well unfortunately, since I did not measure, this was too long and would not have successfully left space for a handle. It might work on a different door, but sadly I had to return it.I noticed it was extremely well made, particularly I was seeking something to cover the drafts that I have around my door knobs. This does that extremely well. It has nice soft silicone gaskets to keep the water out of the front side, and this creates a very solid seal that I wish could have been applied to my own door. I actually traced it because I hope to try my own creation, of thin silicone clear mat. It was such a great product, that I know if it fits your door, you will love it.

I was nervous about this being difficult to install, but it wasn’t at all — it was very simple. I recommend watching the YouTube video; access to it is in the instructions. Setting up the codes was a little more complicated — it took me a few tries, but once I understood and got the hang of it, it was easy. I’ve set up 4 codes now. There’s a YouTube video for that as well. There’s a program code you set up, then an ID for each code, then the code itself. It was the ID part I wasn’t getting at first, but basically it’s a distinct ID to identify and differentiate each code. At first I was thinking the ID was supposed to be the same for each code you add, but it should be distinct. The lock is also easy to use. I like that there is an option to turn off the beeping.

I ordered the King Force intelligent door lock to replace a Schlage keyless entry door lock. The problem with the Lock which came with the house, was the profile. It sticks out way too far. It obstructed the operation of the storm door handle. My only choice was to remove the storm door or remove the lock.I contacted King Force customer service prior to ordering and they went out of their way to text measurements and photos of their lock. After installation, I contacted them again and received step by step instructions in changing codes. I couldn’t be happier with operation of the lock. I set it to auto lock after 30 seconds. No more getting up to check to see if I locked the door! No more keys! I’m pleased with the help, the operation of the lock, and the savings over the Schlage.

Purchased this lock for Ease of entree for the adult family members who always seem to lock themselves out. I was feeling a little Frustrated when installing the lock, because I failed to follow one of these smallest instructions of switching the little lever to the appropriate direction to how the door was hung. I sent a email to the customer service VIP hotline. Well let me express, how elated it was to speak to Stan. He walked me through how to correct my error. He was so patient, kind, courteous, and informative. Stan thank you for your kind custom service. My lock looks and works great. The lock is awesome. Thank you stan.

My 11 year old son installed this himself with no problems at all! My boys love having this lock and it seems to work very well. We love the option of quickly entering and exiting without worrying about a key. The only thing that we haven't quite figured out is that when the door is open sometimes it automatically locks, but I am sure there is a way to change that setting if I look into it further. In fact, there are probably many other features that we still don't know about it. Very pleased with this product.
