SLOW! Just because it has a USB-C (USB 3.2) connector; does NOT mean its fast apparently!
PRO:- Cheap USB 3.2 (USB-C) Thumb Drive from a reputable manufacturer.- Now can convert your ISO files and create USB-C boot drives.CON:-Even though it has a USB-C (USB 3.2) connector; doesn't mean its going to be fast...- Very slow.- Low quality flash cripples the performance.- I would not anticipate these lasting.Context:The USB-C interface provides connectivity to a hardware bus capable of high speed data transfer. However this device goes to show that an interface type CAPABLE of high rate transfer speeds doesn't mean that the manufacturer's hardware are going to take advantage of that CAPABILITY. This Kingston Flash Drive is super slow slow. I ran crystal disk against it and the fast write speed I got was 36MB/s. On par with USB 1.1 or 2.0 speeds. That's telling of the low quality flash memory Kingston is using making these. Very little likelihood that it is going to last. No where near the performance I get out of my older white Kingston Data Traveler 3.0 with the loop bottoms. I anticipated seeing from a thumb drive with the latest connection interface to bring next level performance. These were a let down. Based on the dismal throughput I would have been better off just getting more of the last Gen Kingston Data Travelers. This one was a miss. Even though the USB 3.0 drive has a lower ceiling; those units are able to significantly out perform these newer low quality models.I would love to see large scale manufacturer price per unit manufacturing cost. I would be shocked if the price per unit cost differences between low and high performance units were not negligible. However, something tells me manufacturers are willing to reduce performance to a third of what it could have been just to shave a few cents of the price per unit manufactured costs.

Good product, fast speeds, would buy again.
USB-C starting to be standard port on laptops so decided to try it out. Unit came in formatted FAT32 and wanted to do some large ISO file so went with NTFS and got over double the speed of your standard USB 2.0 saving over an hour of transfer time for a good 27GB of files/transfer. Very happy with item, and would buy again!!

Error prone
Very Error prone. It could never complete a large directory transfer. I threw it out to avoid frustration.
