I did a little research on which thumbsticks to buy because I didn't want to get something that would feel cheap, or not as good as the real thing. Well, I made the right choice. The kit came with the sticks, as well as some plastic wedges, screwdrivers and tweezers. I didn't use the screwdrivers because I already have a decent set from iFixit, but the tweezers are great quality and were absolutely necessary for inserting the ribbon cables and I'll definitely be using them for other things in future.Most importantly though, after about 5 - 10 minutes of getting it fitted, the joycon drift is completely gone! The thumbstick feels great, slightly better than the other one (maybe because that's now a few years old and not been replaced) and works exactly as it should. I seriously haven't noticed any downsides at all, and I've got a spare from this 2 pack should the other one ever fail me.If you're looking at the many options not knowing what to go for then I hope this helps... this kit contains great quality components, just the right amount of extras to get the job done and no more, came quickly and was a brilliant price. Just buy it.

What can I say about these other than they are perfect for replacing broken/fault joysticks in your joy-cons.These work for both joy-cons (left and right), and following a simple guide you can find on YouTube, all tools are provided for you to easily fix up your joy-cons.Having had these installed for over 2 months, and been through vigorous usage, I can certainly say these are perfect for the job. The only criticism I could say about these, is they feel a bit rough when you first get them, but given a week of usage they end up feeling great.Update: 6 months on, these are still working perfectly and the joysticks feel perfect. I have recently purchased a second set of these to repair a family members joy con drift issue, and these worked/fit perfectly like the first set and have completely resolved the issue. I could not recommend these more than I already have.

After having been told that my sons Joy-cons started to drift. With previous experience taking mine apart and replacing, I couldn’t get hold of my previous joy-con replacement seller.The kit seemed ok for the job with the correct tools nothing else was needed. Once my joy-con was opened (easy for anyone who has wired a UK standard plug) I started removing the original joy stick. Once placing the new one in, something felt odd? I proceeded and turned on the switch for calibration.The tracking was completely off, not a problem. Went into the switch controller settings and proceeded with the calibration. It was completely off still, not a little.... I mean a lot!I thought it might be an off joystick. I opened up the new joystick to have the exact same problem!I thought it was just the way I installed them?However I placed the old one back in and it had the slight drift but not as bad. Placed the new ones back in and still the same issue.Not happy with the product, straight in the bin had to buy some new ones from somewhere else.

Bought this set because my Right Joycon was experiencing drift and wanted to change them myself rather than wait a month for Nintendo to fix the issue, in addition, I wanted to change the shells on the Joycons because of how easier it would do that, so I bought this Kit to complete this task.Out of this task, I ended up: Stripping Multiple Screws that caused multiple breakdowns & issues, Screws not being able to be taken in or out and ruining the original shells. From this nightmare, I ended up breaking off the Micro Switch from my Right Joycon and lost my Joycon forever.After a last-ditch attempt before deciding to buy a new pair of Joycons, I bought a different (AND BETTER) set of screwdrivers and managed to save my Left Joycon but have decided to buy another right joycon so I can try again.Simply put, I cannot recommend using this set for your Joycons, might have been my naivety but you will end up stripping screws & ruining any chance of a functional Joycon. In addition, if you have a warranty and experiencing any issues or stick drift, save yourself the hassle & curiosity and send them to Nintendo to fix and solve the problem.

So happy I stumbled across this kit. Was looking at buying replacement joycons as the left controller did nothing but drift.Kept putting off as expensive to replace but was going to for Xmas until I found this.You get all the tools and equipment you need to replace. There is a YouTube link included however I found it very simple and easy to follow the photo guide on here.Slightly fiddly as you would expect with such small components but so worthwhile and a huge money saver if you take a little time to fix yourself.**Be warned a spring pinged out whilst removing the battery case, pictures don’t really show where it would have come from…turns out it was for the top left trigger just something to be mindful of**

Had to purchase due to the original left hand joycon drifting. Very happy with the quality of these analogue sticks. Has fixed the problem and can't really feel any difference from the originals which is a good thing.If your not careful the screwdrivers provided can quite easily round off screws. They are decent quality but are not a 100% fit to the screw heads. I use tools for a living so used to undoing screws and still nearly rounded 1 or 2 off. I decided to replace the shells since I was taking the joycons to bits and the screwdriver I received with the shells was much better.To sum up very good analogue sticks.....screw drivers will do the job but you need to be careful.
