I am pleased with my purchase
Bought this to replace an existing cam from a boxed security camera set of DVR + 8 cameras. While this camera is probably 20% bigger than the replaced camera, it posed no issue for me. The FOV is awesome and the daylight clarity is much better than any of the the originals. I am very pleased with the wide angle lens as I can easily see 30-40% more of the yard than I could with the original. The night vision is an improvement over the original cam, but could benefit from some ambient light such as a porch lamp. I cannot speak to long-term durability, as it have only been installed for a few day, but it looked and felt well made. I guess time will tell. If things remain the same for a few weeks, I will be purchasing a few more.

Installed 9/14/18
Camera is working great (now.) A power supply should be included. I tried the 12vdc supply that worked with my Lorex cameras, but the video had lots of flashes and noise. I changed to a 12vdc REGULATED SWITCHING supply and now it works great. If a PS had been included, it would have saved me many trips up and down a 16ft ladder. All's well that ends well.UPDATE: The one that I had first installed failed after several weeks. Output signal seems to be sync pulses only, but no video. (I didn't check with a scope, but my CCTV Tester showed sync being present. I replaced the failed camera with the backup spare that I had ordered and it's still working perfectly. The camera was providing near perfect output up until the day it failed. The backup still does. I hope that itone will continue giving good service, but I don't plan on purchasing a replacement for the failed one until the new one proves to be more dependable.

Not great but reliable
Well, what can I say this camera provides a poor quality picture but it has been reliably providing me a poor quality picture at least the damn thing is functional. I’m just gonna leave it at that..

There is NOTHING about this camera that is worthwhile. NOTHING
At every level in which a company can make a product to meet a consumer's needs, this company has failed. The camera has two knobs on the bottom, one for focus and one for zoom. THEY ARE NOT LABELED. Just two knobs. On the one page instruction sheet they show a picture of the bullet camera AND a picture of a dome camera, they list the specifications, then they show instructions on how to set the video mode but show nothing at all about the zoom and focus. Both knobs seem to affect the zoom - both will make the frame change. Worse - both knobs can turn 1/2 turn and have NO effect on the zoom or the focus ... and then completing the turn to a full turn causes the mechanism to affect the ENTIRE change ... meaning you miss the middle. IT'S JUST TERRIBLE.The bullet camera has a Sun Shade with a Big Knob on the top ... but the shade is not adjustable!! You can loosen the knob, but the slot is 1" long so you can't move the shade. This is not QUALITY design or engineering. This product is what is called "Pump The Junk" -- just enough to get people to buy it and not a single thing more. There are better cameras out there.

Better than ever and lot less expensive.
5 years ago this product would have cost $300+ along with half the quality of this unit. I used to install these or similar models of the day but was never really happy with the video output. These cameras are fantastic - plug & play works great. Good night vision plus a HD unit.

Poor Day & Night Picture
Maybe I received a defective unit. My experience didn't match the other reviews for this Ventech HD 1000TVL. The daylight picture quality was below the 600TVL that I replaced. The night vision was horrible quality and the IR LED's washed out the center of the picture - see submitted photo.

Very clear images after few adjustments.
The quality and the price is excellent compared to other camera with the same specifications. Making adjustments isn’t intuitive however after learning and few tweaks the images are very clear. Highly recommended.
