I wish I'd bought this years ago! I guess I was resistant to spending so much on a ice pack and stuck with the small flimsy wrap I'd been using for years. This is so superior to any other pack, it was worth every pence. What I like best is that the ice pack itself is divided into compartments to maintain a fairly even distribution of gel throughout the pack (though this could be improved even further). I stick the whole thing in the freezer and it's fine - no need to remove and replace pack itself. A spare ice pack comes with it, though I'd prefer it didn't just to bring price down a bit. The wrap is also large, soft, can be walked in, and will fit anyone since the velcro sticks to every inch of the wrap. I'm petite and I do wonder if that is why I can't quite get a super tight fit - or maybe it's that my freezer is too cold; I usually leave this out for 5 min before putting on my skin to ensure that it is soft enough to fit closely. I may just need to readjust straps better for a closer fit. Overall, highly highly recommend. I hope this product takes off more and that higher volume of sales gradually brings the price down a bit.

Think I'm reading reviews for a different product 🤔. The product is well made, it will fit a range of sizes & would be suitable for knees too. I find the freezer too much, si put it in the fridge. I am using it to reduce swelling following surgery on my elbow. The negative is that it is a complete nightmare to put on one handed. Guessing they have stopped providing a storage pouch too.

The item is bulkier than expected. Couldn't wear underneath normal clothing. However, does make some difference to swollen joints. Glad l have it for the occassions when my knee really needs it.

Well made easy to use and very effective

Excellent product, I am very pleased with my purchase, very easy to use & comfortable & very good quality.

I find this gel sleeve a useful, and more importantly better, alternative to using a bag of frozen peas on aching joints and muscles. The gel was a bit heavier than I was expecting, it's quite a dense material. You probably could strap it on with the Velcro and walk about with it around your knee or ankle, but I find it far easier just to be stationary for 20 minutes while using the sleeve. The sleeve does become cold after a reasonable time in the freezer and doesn't warm up straight away. It does require a bit of pre-planning as it takes a while to reach that point, but as long as you have freezer space, it is fine. The advantage over the bag of frozen peas is that it can completely surround your knee, ankle or elbow, providing coldness from all angles. As I battle to recover from tendonitis in my patella tendon, I find these knee sleeve a useful tool to ease the discomfort.

The product in itself is fit for purpose, but I am a bit disappointed about the rigidity once it’s frozen. I bought the same size basic gel pad from the same brand, which I’m very happy about, and that’s quite flexible once it’s frozen. The only reason about this is because it has the Velcro straps and they hold it in place over my elbow but I can’t really wrap it around my elbow as it’s frozen solid, I can barely fold it in two.

Amazon avvisa che arriva dentro una confezione trasparente e che si può chiedere di riceverlo dentro un pacco che ne nasconda il contenuto. La fascia è robusta, pesante e ben rifinita, gradevole al tatto sia nella parte esterna impermeabile sia nella parte interna, morbida e da appoggiare sul sulla pelle. È piuttosto grande, si adatta relativamente bene al ginocchio quando si curva e fa qualche grinza, come è normale essendo un grosso rettangolo spesso con delle strisce per agganciarlo alla gamba gradevolmente elastiche e non troppo fastidiose dietro il ginocchio. Con la gamba tesa è comoda, piegata si sente la presenza, va allentato un pó. È da considerare l'ingombro nel freezer come fosse un maglioncino leggero da donna ripiegato. È una buona idea metterlo nel congelatore all'interno di una plastica in modo che non si sporchi e non assorba gli odori. Le istruzioni indicano di tenerlo in freezer almeno tre ore, contrariamente alle immagini su amazon dove è indicato 1,5-2 ore. La flessibilità dopo tre ore è scarsa, ovviamente, bisogna attendere alcuni minuti prima di poterla indossare e per me è troppo fredda, preferisco tenerla in freezer 2 ore, ma è soggettivo. Si forma la condensa nella parte impermeabile, come è normale. Io risolvo asciugando le gocce con un panno, ci vuole un attimo. La consiglio

This is a great contraption! When I first got it, it seemed SO heavy, and the straps SO long. I wondered if it would work. But it does! It’s simple to use, stays cool for a good length of time, makes my knee feel better, helps healing, and it doesn’t take too much room in the freezer. It is well worth the money. I’m so pleased that I tried it and highly recommend it!
