Gourmet Basics by Mikasa Metal Centerpiece Banana Hook, General Store Basket

I like the size of the basket. After using it for a month, holding a variety of fruits, I have found that the bottom wires cut into soft fruits like pears, grapes, kiwi ect. The harder skinned fruit like apples dint from the wires. All the fruit was a single layer not stacked or tightly packed in the basket. The wire banana hook is to wide to hold a bunch of bananas easily. The feet on the bottom scrape on my quartz counters Iike nails on a chaulk board.

I like it enough. I mean, it holds fruit, which is the whole purpose of the thing. The banana hanger doesn't work well at all, though. It doesn't stay affixed to the side of the basket and the hook is obnoxiously enormous so it's difficult to hang bananas from it. The banana hanger sits in a drawer and I just toss the bananas in the basket.

This looks very nice in my kitchen. My only complaint is the banana holder part just clips on, so it comes off sometimes when I'm grabbing a banana. But its really not a huge deal and overall I'm very happy.

The hook for the bananas is too wide - it is tough to put the bananas on it with out them splitting apart.

The banana holder is very flimsy, you have to fix it all the time.

Did not care for this basket and sent it back. The bowl was pretty but the banana hook was not attached and falls off easily plus does not hold bananas nicely

Bought two of these thinking I broke the first ones the part that is supposed to hold the bananas does NOT stay up. Very unsatisfied !!!
