I've had my Englander 17-VL wood stove for 6 years, I recently replaced both the door and window gaskets, this was the perfect gasket for the window. It has some adhesive on one side that helps it stick to the window, just remove the 4 bolts and 2 retaining plates to take out the glass, discard the old gasket and stick the new one on. It took about 5 minutes.

Does the job and is easy to install

The gasket was ok but it took a week in a haft to get here it sit in the bulk centers fo 2 and 3 days

No where in the listing does it tell you how much you are getting but another reviewer stated they had enough left over for a 2nd application. If that was ever true it is not now and it was the sole reason I was willing to buy this. However, there is just enough for 1 application.

Bought this exact same product 2 years ago and have used it since. A great gasket for around the wood stove window. Reordered it in 2023 and received what the packaging said was the same product and the part number on the backing is the same as well, but it is not. The original gasket has a much smaller and tighter weave to it which appears as if it will fit around the glass much easier and better. This new product has a larger more loosely woven material. The original packaging 2 years ago looks just like the picture on the website and the product in the bottom of the picture i have attached. Nicely rolled into a neat round package. This time it arrived by someone just shoving the gasket into a zip lock bag. The product has a sticky backing to it and has a removeable tape to reveal the glue. When just shoved into the bag , this protective tape was bent and partially removed. This will make it more difficult to install the product when needed. Had to roll myself and place back into the bag. Customer service on this product has certainly not been maintained. Will see how the actual product works when i need it, but not sure if I would ever buy this brand again. AND.. There is a 30 day return policy. BUT.... there is a 20% restocking fee. Now I know I will not reorder again.
